^ I am new to Switch. And, am trying to be picky which games to get cause they are expensive lol. ( haven't had a gaming system since the Wii). So between Breath of the Wild and Tears which would u rec to buy 1st.
If you're new, I would say to start with Breath of the Wild. 1. It's usually $10 cheaper than Tears of the Kingdom; And you may be able to find Breath of the Wild on sale 2. Tears of the Kingdom is basically "Breath of the Wild: Part 2" so it might be good to see if you like Breath of the Wild before thinking about getting Tears of the Kingdom
@@jocelinf yes so expensive! But I did end up getting Mario Odyssey which was 100% worth it. And I’ve gotten a few other games on sale since then that were less than $20 to play with others. Next game up is Zelda!
I strongly disagree with starting with breath. I’d get an online subscription and start with link to the past from snes then ocarina of time from n64. These will be closer to what to expect from like 80% of other Zelda games. Also better games (yeah I said it fight me) and cheaper if looking to just trying the series out. Find out it’s not for u can try out other stuff.
I started with Breath of the Wild and then played tears of the kingdom. I love them both and don’t regret starting there at all. I do wish I started playing Zelda games earlier. I am planning on playing Ocarina of Time, through the subscription on the switch. I’m excited for any potential remakes as well.
I mean you could get nintendo online for a month and just play it. Its not that expensive, only a fee dollars if im not mistaken so youre not doing anything wrong. But i dont know about the controlls, i just heard that the banjoo kazoie controlls are terrible without a n64 controller. But you could just get it a try The n64 games are classics and honestly its a blessing to be able ti play em on the switch, i had a n64 as a kid and this is just great nostalgia and a good look into how many genres started getting bigger

Finally have a Switch which finally gives me a chance to play some of the Nintendo Games I never got around to playing. Might look into Zelda now.

The two zelda games i own are skyward sword and links awakening i love old scholl zeldas not intrested in the open world ones.
Links Awakening actually looks like it would be pretty fun and nornally I don't like 2d zelda games. Maybe it's the art style ❤😂

Yes, you can change to only using button controllers on other controllers besides the Joy-Con.
