      Yeah! Maybe they'll show the next baby she gives birth to thats immediately stolen from her lol, or maybe when she can no longer stand after constantly being milked, inseminated and giving birth year after year! Then they can show her after that when they allow her to die I guess

      If you get repeatedly artificially impregnated, have your newborn babies taken from you and your breastmilk sucked out with machines until your reproductive system is spent and you are sent to a slaughterhouse.. then you will be able to relate to these animals.
      We wouldn't do this to any other animal, why do we do it to cows? We don't need dairy milk. It's not healthy, it's bad for the environment and leading cause of climate change. That is why the industry is in decline, people are waking up.

    One smart Cow! Doris has a wonderful sense of humor. I understand her desire to skip her chores.

  • @thebowandbullet
    @thebowandbullet Год назад +12

    Today's cows have been bred to produce way more milk than they can do healthily. Their udders get extremely painful if they're not milked (because farmers kill their sons and keep away their daughters so they can steal their milk for humans) and often infected. If a cow isn't rushing to be milked, it's more likely a sign that she's not well and the farmer will send her to the slaughterhouse because she's not profitable enough for him.
    Although cows can live >20 years when they're well cared for, not abused or exploited, dairy cows are usually killed after a few years as the repeated pregnancies (via forced artificial insemination), having their babies taken away, and overproduction of milk depletes their bodies so much they eventually can't even stand anymore.
    So to anyone thinking this is a cute story, think again. Dairy cows are among the most abused animals on the planet.

      Dystopian world we live in where "animal lovers" come to look at this video of the cute cow pretending to be asleep - probably because she's traumatized and in pain producing milk for a child that was taken from her - and completely turn a blind eye to the obvious cruelty behind it

    Amazing to put this on youtube and even more amazing that people do not seem to see that this poor cow is not pretending to be asleep, she is probably DEPRESSED - 😪 If you can't work out why she might be depressed, how would you feel if after giving birth, your baby was taken from you within hours, so that someone could take your breast milk and sell it to another species because they "just love milk/cheese/yogurt" Dairy cows are repeatedly impregnated so they continue to produce milk until they are worn out by the process, then they are finally 'reunited' with all their babies at the local abattoir. 😥 Yes, I'm a vegan - for nearly 40 years, once I realised how sick the dairy industry was I could no longer 'stomach' dairy products. I don't see how any animal could possibly sleep on cold, hard concrete. Shouldn't they have straw to lie on? Some farmers have waterproof mattress like things. Still, I suppose it costs too much to consider giving an animal a little comfort. I've never know any farmer to consider giving some comfort to their animals. I'm not saying that all farmers don't care, but there's a fair few that don't. Poor animals get treated so unfairly :-(

    This is a lovely example of farming done right, where a farmer knows his animals by name and personality, and works closely enough with them that he "belongs" to the her. Sadly, we don't see videos like that often because this joyful cooperation does not fit a vegan's world view.
