Wonder why you avoid testing the upload speed,,, is it because it fell on its face, like mine does,,, I can get full gig speed down but am lucky to get 150 upload,, which is very noticeable when I have a few clients streaming from my plex server
I JUST BOUGHT THIS I GOT INTERNET 75 BUT WHEN I CONNECT THIS EXPANSIVE one i get only 47 mbp download and when i disconnect the tp link and connect my pc directly i get even 85 mbps ??? any idea i bought this from bet buy $300 if it is garbage like this i give it back tomorrow any help ??
Your review is not enough. How about speed copy on local network from Laptop to Laptop with Wifi 6 Ax200? It should run 100% speed of SSD or HDD? I think it is another option you should test.
@@s9be14 First you must check what your device support. If your device support 2x2 MIMO and 160 MHz bandwidth on 5GHz, you can reach with wifi 5 1,73 Gb/s. If it has only 80 MHz bandwidth you will have 865 Mb/s and if it has 1x1 and 80 MHz you can achieve only 433 Mb/s.
I thought this was a good router until the WAN port failed just 6 months out of warranty. I must say that TP-Link support is really bad, they are not interested in repairing either under warranty or at all. It was not cheap at $540 aud, they suggested I take advantage of sales and purchase another. I don't think 3yr 6months is long enough for a device this expensive and with technology being where it is these days. I won't risk buying another if it's only going to last 3years, they refuse to to anything outside of warranty. I will try another brand, there a plenty of other tech companies that have much more reliable equipment. If you are thinking of buying one of these just be aware that 3 years is all they give you. That's not good enough for me.
Hi, thanks for your extensive review and test! If you could get a router absolutely for free, which one would you get: ASUS RT-AX89X or TP-LINK AX6000 or something else?
Yes. You cable internet should be Coax cable, and it should be plugged into your Cable Modem -> then ethernet cable from modem to the WAN connection of WiFi router.
I've owned one for over a year, and can testify it's junk lacking many features of my 12 year old Asus router. Save your money and buy a Asus a Router. These will overheat under heavy use and will slow down and just stop working and will require A reboot.
Thanks for detail review. Yeah i would like to see ax6000 or even ax11000 WiFi 6 routers prices come down to under $200 :)
Appreciate the Feedback.
Same here; I'm currently looking at this router but the price is a bit much
Costco has had the ax 11,000 on sale many times for $219.00
Was on sale so I got one today! Easy to setup and great speed.
Great to hear!
Does it take a simcard?
@@iilxpamvs No. I have on and no SIM card required. I've never heard of a wireless router that required a SIM card.
thanks for this review! I was looking for some tests with speed and signal quality.. thanks! great video
Appreciate it.
I have one and I love it BUT I would never put it in the basement. You should have it in the center of the home as high as possible.
WTH? 50% wifi speed drop when next to router?
Hi bro
Is it better or a router tplink ax90
is the port forwarding process easy? and does it let you set port ranges?
Yes. Please checkout the Last Quarter of the video for Admin Interface.
Which one wouldould you recommend buying Ideapad slim 3 or IdeaPad S145? (Same Specs on both ryzen 5, 512 ssd, 8 gb Ram)
Same price?
@@DealUnboxing Yes
What is a better one now?
take a shot every time he says "wireless speed"
i got it for 150 dollars, is it a good deal in 2024?
Not bad. Just keep in mind you can get WiFi 7 for $250.
So, what would you recommend?
TP-LINK AX6000 or Linksys MR9600?

Upload speed is ISP dependent. My Upload Speed is same as download.
I can get it for around 180 should I buy it??
That would be a great deal.
@@DealUnboxing I read some other reviews and definitely will buy, thanks
What happens if my device doesn't support WIFI 6 and I don't have WIFI 6 pcie adapter, is it still fast?
Yes. At least you will be future proof.

Interesting. You can reset and test it again. When you say connect your PC. You mean directly from ONT box to PC?
Is this better the Velop Wifi 6?
Velop WiFi 6 is Mesh System, and this is a Single Router. So there is no direct comparison, but it all comes down to the Sqft of your house.
when you will get the eero pro 6 mesh wifi ?
Don't know, but i will try my best.
Please review the ⏩ tp-link archer ax11000 and the homecare for this router. Thanks
I will do my best. Thanks for the Feedback.

is this router good for wifi 5? both 2.4ghz and 5ghz 5000 sqft ??
Yeah. But it depends on your home construction. I would recommend Mesh Units for 5000 Sqft houses.

If you could get a router absolutely for free, which one would you get: ASUS RT-AX89X or TP-LINK AX6000 or something else?
RT-AX98X because it has 10Gig Nics + 8 1Gig Nics. Otherwise both have same specs.
I have at&t u verse internet. will this router work with it?
Yes. You cable internet should be Coax cable, and it should be plugged into your Cable Modem -> then ethernet cable from modem to the WAN connection of WiFi router.
Please explain this with homekit???
It should work. If that's what you are asking.
Is it good for gaming?
Yes it is good for gaming.

Yes. Like i mentioned it is Dual Band (2.4Ghz + 5Ghz)
