If the vehicle is over 100 degrees out you lose over 1 second 0-60. I bought mine in 2021 February after i did my 1000 mile break in, I have clocked in my system 0-60 @3.4 seconds... In august @ 115 degrees 0-60 @ 4.85 In the heat its terrible!

I couldn't disagree more with the overall assessment. People shopping at this level aren't trying to save money, otherwise they wouldn't be looking at this. Secondly yes, certain Tesla models are faster and cheaper, but they're built like a kit car with NO luxury to be found. I can see the argument between the Coupe version version the regular body style GLE, but not the argument that you're better off with some junk electric from Tesla. It isn't even a comparison beyond 0-60 times. Tech buyers in my experience aren't even car enthusiasts and a Tesla is like them buying a new phone, not a car. 0-60 times are not the end all of car ownership/experience.
Not everyone who want's a SUV style vehicle with it's higher riding position, want's to have a big box stuck at the back of it. Like not everyone who drives a _normal_ coupé (Not a coop!) wants to have an estate car. I think the coupé style SUV's are good looking and certainly have enough boot/trunk space if you know you're not going to be lugging wardrobes about.
Estates offer more space and drive better and handle better and faster and have lower centre of gravity than SUV coupes, E63 wagon offers 35 cubic feet of trunk space while GLE coupe offers 23 cubic feet of space and yet On Motortrend Testing the 1/4 mile of E63S wagon is 11.2 seconds at 125.1 mph while GLE63S coupe does 1/4 mile in 11.9 seconds at 116.2 mph, The gle Coupe offers LESS SPACE than a FORD FOCUS hatchback and looks Hideous MT Figure 8 Track: E63S wagon 24.1 seconds GLE coupe suv: 25.0 seconds, E63 Wagon better handling

I can’t believe this system is considered to be showing it’s age. Still seems new to me. I feel like we can’t expect these infotainment system to get fully redone every 6 months like smartphones, because their not the same thing.

We just dumped our 2019 GLC-63 AMG. Couldn’t shift from 1st to 2nd, wore out it’s tires in 6300 miles and the AC condenser is down near the ground, in the front scoop of the bumper. Caught a rock and that was $3400… yup it’s gone

I've already put this comment on a couple other Redline AMG videos and maybe Sofyan isn't reading my comments but this vehicle does not have the multi clutch transmission. It has the single clutch 9 speed torque converter automatic. And I realize I'm two days late in watching this so someone may have mentioned this already. Lol

I love this vehicle, unfortunately Mercedes-AMG chose to use the TCT Transmission so no launch control in a 150k AMG! For that reason I would not buy this. Essentially this GLE has a similar transmission setup as the C43 and GLC43’s. TCT = Torque Converter Transmission. C63 S, E63 S, GLC63 S all have MCT (Mutli-Clutch) transmission with Launch Control. GLE 63 S, GLE 53, GLC43, C43 have a TCT with torque converter without launch control. FYI to potential buyers.
You can always tell from Sofyan's launch reactions if a car is adequately powered, I love it lol... Ilove the Coupe SUVs, if I ever decide to leave the luxury-sport sedan for a SUV/CUV it would be a Coupe because it's different and sexy asf tbh.. Great Review!! I'd take them in this order; 1. BMWs interior quality is bar none better. When I was cross shopping, that was one of the determining factors. Design is cool but quality is below the bimmer but on par with Audi. And with no wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, it’s a pass
I grow tired of the "CoUpEs HaVe 2 DoOrS" nonsense! Times change, definitions change. Everybody just needs to keep up. Coupe SUVs and 4 door car coupes are called coupes due to the sloping rear roof, a common look that prior standard 2 door coupes also had. That one feature from those vehicles are now added to current vehicles and utilize the term coupe. It's really no different from calling all the trucks SUVs when the vast majority are crossovers. Initially, SUV was a body on frame vehicle like a pickup truck. But now, all of the vehicles with that style is just an SUV. In regards to the coupe name, I do prefer what Audi calls them, a Sportback. It would be better if all makes used that term, perhaps Audi trademarked it though, idk. I'm still fine with coupe though.

If you hold down the DOWN SHIFT when pressing start, you get the sweet revved up engine sound. A little trick I learned from the MB tech.

The performance is great for a vehicle of that weight, however I would prefer the SUV version

I think it just looks big and have a presence. Driving it isn’t bad and I don’t feel that it’s massive… and my previous car was CLA45.. much smaller

Yeah but an EV just isn't gunna put a smile on your face like that v8 does as it's not just the speed but the sound.
People believe electric is the way, what do they think it takes to provide the chargers? I also don't want to have to take an extra day on vacation charging every 300 miles. Im not against electric in itself but nothing like a roar of a V8.
So for this year it's a 53 gle instead of the 63s not good
I love every bit of this car.
The biggest compromise is having to drive something as ugly as sin.
