It's a really dope car but if I was to purchase something along these lines I would go with the BMW X6 M50, just like the interior options a lot more. But it's not like I can afford either so what does it matter.
It does not look like a review but feels more like set of instructions on how use various utilities. You should stick to the topic and that is how it drives, how it perform on the road or off the road.
I have driven the BMW X6 but have not posted a review yet. I suggest you check your insurance costs before you make your final decision. Thanks so much for the comment.
What I have noticed is that even though I have the 2022 my model is different than the model that she is showing especially when it comes to the speakers the speakers on the door do not illuminate whereas hers does so if there is some And this car for sure
Beautiful vehicle, stands out. Unfortunately where can you drive it? because it’s beautiful and stands out makes the driver a ‘bee line’ target for carjackers in the states.
I remember back in the day when people purchased a car just to get from point A to point B with no power anything or infotainment systems and people were happy with that. Now it’s all about bells and whistles and outdoing family, friends and total strangers.
Hi great review I ? I I love this car and I have severe rheumatoid arthritis in my hips and knees this would be my dream car is it easy to get in and out of especially as a passenger I have a hard time picking up my legs I’m able to kind of like Scootin to the vehicle and then would have to like cross my legs or pick them up would you know the ground clearance from the ground to the actual vehicle floor and would you say it’s easy to get in and out of for someone who has really bad knees and hips do you have to really been down or do you really have to climb into it
I bought this car in December of 2021 so it's a 2022 model and it's 10 months old for me I named it trelaine as in the star trek episode. I have 22" wheels I got the red brake calipers the same color of course and I got the red and Black Napa leather interior also sir also I got the illuminated star in the front what I could not get was the Wireless charger nor could I get the massage seat due to lack of lack of computer chips at the time but I love my car and apparently so does the whole village and boy does it gooooooo! I got the pump for the tire and I got a spare so I was lucky
I traded in my RR Velar P380 R-Dynamic for a 21 GLE 53 (standard, not coupe), as the Velar was going out of warranty. My thoughts on the two are that, overall, the AMG wins - and I did not expect that. I think the Velar is probably the sexiest vehicle in this class, and its playfulness doesn't disappoint. But compared to the GLE 53, it is cramped (the rear legroom in the GLE is ridiculously ample) and their 3.0l supercharged V6 delivers 380hp vs. the AMG-tuned 429, but also the Velar's 332 lb-ft vs. the 53's 384 lb-ft. And even though my Velar weighed about 600 lbs. less, it takes 0.6 seconds longer in the 0-60. RRs also tend to be a little more expensive, likely due to the fact that about 50% of the AMG GLE manufacturing occurs here in the US (cheaper import and labor costs). I love Range Rover, but I am very, very happy with my AMG.
How well was your gle53 lease or did you purchase it outright? I'm currently waiting because the lease deals in this market are not that great or competitive. However buying this car at it's current price when a new one will come out and make mine feel old I Dont know
@@vlone_slatt3504 I bought, almost at sticker (had 5000 miles on it). As for the new model, I'm not sure how dramatic the design changes will be. Seems MB takes a moderate approach to design updates, unlike some other makers (BMW, RR, etc.). But I could be wrong - haven't seen the specs for the new model.
I also own a GLE 53, although I have it on a stage 1 tune on it so its a lot faster then stock lol. comparing a velar and an AMG is just night and day differences. Especially since its a velar, not a sport. Thats equivalent from going from a GLC to the GLE. Huge upgrade
Just a reminder if you get it eliminated the front star you will then forego some of the technology because you can't have both I got mine with the illuminated star so there's some technology that they had to take away from the front
Expensive yes I agree, plus every dealer they over pricing cars lol a 30,000 use car cost today 43,000 😂😂😂😂 n they want 6,000 down payment n 700 credit score 🎉🎉🎉🎉. They want to charge u for the car they not selling Tha not customers businesses!
Way too expensive! Got to save $$$$$ for chicken wings, or a garbage plate, or salt potatoes......🤗👍🤣 p.s. another great, thorough review by Lauren. Seems redundant to have to post that for each review ..👍🤗😇
@@papagen00 my kona N does almost as much for much, much less $$$, with a better set of warranties and 32-35 mph on regular. so, not for me used. ever seen the repair costs on a used mercedes? 🤔🙄🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑
Old adage but it works, if you want the best, pay for it! BMW, Porsche are great rivals and in class, Genesis is not! While dependability and overall build quality good they are not in the performance, handling. They are likely not as safe due to European safety regulations but offer a less expensive for the next tier down!
Its far from being the best luxury SUV. Its not even considered a real AMG without the V8 bi turbo engine. its a compromise for people who wants AMG but can't afford 63.
I can afford 63 but I don't like the stiff suspension that is not suitable for my daily drive. It's a compromise I agree, but it hits the sweet spot of having daily drivability, comfort, performance and style. Even the gle 63 amg is not really handles that good, they are top heavy suvs, I'd rather choose a comfort ride. If you want real amg, buy an amg gtc or gtr.

What happened to the knurled metal nobs, and REAL buttons for the radio and HVAC? it's a waste of money anymore.

What is your opinion about Mercedes electric SUVs that they advertise a lot lately?

Are the 4 tires on this car the same size, and do they ride better than the standard tires that come with it?
nope front tires are 275 and rear tires are 315 as standard. On the 63 model you get 325 tires in the rear for more grip.
