Precisely Change/Remove background in iPad Affinity Designer/Photo

I really wish you spoke in this video. It's been incredibly hard to follow along and now I'm stuck at the fx-outer shadow part. My box doesn't extend or give me those next options you go to. I have no idea what you pressed.

For anyone else that's a total, total noob and just learning, after you turn on outer shadow, you tap the word "outer shadow" and the box in your context menu changes.

Hi. Sorry that you experienced the issue you elaborate here. I am agree that adding a voice or a voiceover makes things clearer.
But what I can help here is trying to resolve your issue in text :-D
"Enabling Outer Shadow slides in an option bar at the bottom of your ipad and if this is not happening, it might be an issue with your ipad software or Affinity installation. Try to restart your ipad and repeat the command. Hopefully it will resolve the issue.

This must be one of the worst ways to do it and that tool isn't intended for that use.... Don't follow this video.
