I'm correcting it because you're mistaken.
It's 100% Buddhist music.
It wasn't sung by a Christian choir
It's never fused with Christianity.
It is a song that praises the enlightened Buddha Sakyamuni. So the Christian choir never praised it🕉😊

@@칭낫흔비낫흔 I'm from Sri Lanka, a majority Buddhist country of the Théravāda school. I didn't meant that this was sung by a Christian choir. The Jayamangala Gatha is a Buddhist chant, but it is to be chanted, not sung with music. This music is Western Classical Opera style, and that evolved essentially from Christian Baroque music. In the Buddhism, there's almost no well established tradition of music historically. So, no wrong with blending components. But you have to know what were the roots of things you play and perform!
