Top rope solo anchor

Top rope soloing is dangerous.
I know this area and know that it is okay and safe to make an anchor here. Know the rules of your location. (NOTE: You can set up a secondary anchor with trad gear below the ledge so that the weight isn't pulling on the tree while climbing, but that is beyond the scope of this video.)
This video is in response to several videos I've seen on RUclips recommending sub-par anchor-building.
Skills needed for top rope soloing: already be a knowledgeable and efficient climber, rope-management skills, know how to safely rappel, know your ascension devices. Know how to use an ascendor to take weight off the rope to switch from ascending to descending. A lot of skills are needed that are not in this video. This is only an anchor set-up.
