Thank you this is very helpful! I love the close ups. Since we need to see what's going on. Your videos are a cut above the rest 😄

Thanks, I should do a fabrication video. Let me think about good project. It may have to be a two parter.

Cutting the seat for the princess cut 5:36 This is the most important set of steps. Learn these and you can set almost anything. :)

Hello thank you so much for the fine tutorial.
Is there any tutorial how to prepare the seat of this bezel?

@@burgorly Hello here is my video on bezel setting. ruclips.net/video/fxBww8PPSUo/видео.html
The best practice is to just make sure the stone has a very flat seat to sit in. Let me know if this helps. Or let me know the problems you are running into and I will try to answer your questions.

I feel like a pest for making so many comments and asking questions, but i was wondering if you ever work with platinum? And i read another commenter say something about you making a fabrication video and would like to say that would be wonderful. I would definitely watch. Maybe start with a simple single stone set ring? There are tons of videos out there with bezel settings. So maybe a prong setting? I currently have about 10 zillion projects going on right now, and love watching others work when i take breaks or when i feel frustrated with a peice.lol i asked you about this earlier but, i am having a hard time working with white gold. So maybe a video of that? Lol i dont expect you to waste any time or material s and metals just fot the purpose of a video request. But if you happen to have any projects with white gold that you're currently or plan to work on, it woulf be veey much appreciated to see the process ad get some tips.lol i feel bad for asking. As i know how valuable this knowledge is.

I have a ruby that was labeled as princess cut but rounded edges. Should I drill the prong like you do or would it be fine like that?

Timothy Rodriguez I would still drill a hole. You may not have to go as deep but I if you can lessen the pressure on the weakest part of the Stone. Better safe than sorry is my theory. Thanks for the comment. All the best.
