    I highly recommend the brake fix from Camel ADV, it's a stiffer pedal with a modified leverage point which gives you a more responsive and subtle brake feel, much easier to modulate. They also sell 3 different tips depending on your preference. The enduro tip gave me knee pain, personally (probably because it made me angle my foot/knee inward too much), but the folding tip is fantastic.
    Have fun with the build, it's a fantastic bike. I did both east coast BDRs and the Smokey 500 last year, it is perfect for that type of terrain while carrying all the camping crap. Running the TAT next month with it!

      I’m almost afraid to go on the camel adv website … I love how crazy those guys are on their bikes, and their products look to be a guarantee for most issues etc and I know my wallet will instantly start to swell as I click “add to shopping cart” haha 😂

    Hi! Great to hear you. Considere the Mivv Pipe and line. It works perfect for me. And fir the extra screen: Carpuride 7 inch, it just mirrors your phone and works fast and seamless. Im don’t have you long experience with bikes, but I have always some 2 wheels around me ;) last years coming from the great Africa twin to the perfect (for me) T7, great bike.

      Right on, yeah i did get online last night and started letting my fingers click a small pile of aftermarket items that are shipping as we speak! haha it's easy to spend some extra dollars personalizing motorcycles in general.
      Im most likely going with a garmin zumo GPS, due to the fact that i'm not very skilled in phone use and downloading info ahead of time, i like to just type in a coordinate and have the lady in the gps yell at me every time i make a wrong turn!

    Great video! Thanks for sharing! I currently own a WR250R and a KTM 690 Duke, which I'm going to sell. Looking to step up in to a mid sized adventure bike, which could take place of my WR & Duke. What are your thoughts on the 690 Enduro R/Husky701 and the 890 ADV R? Cheers! 🍻🏍🇺🇸

    • @Adventure_Ready_Life
      @Adventure_Ready_Life  Месяц назад +1

      @@therealtashiro I just sold my 2015 ktm 690 enduro r.
      That was one of my favorite bikes so far. I’ve changed my riding desires due to health issues suffering from neuropathy in my hands and feet, leading to numbness in my hands while riding at times, so all though I love the 690 for its ability to be ridden like a full on dirt bike off-road it was a lot to muscle around with my health issues, and although it can rip 100 plus mph down the Hwy between trails or to commute on, it was a bit more vibration then I desired once again due to my health issues. I sold the 690 knowing that I would directly replace it with the tenere which is much easier for me to enjoy off-road at a moderate speed and the tenere is much less to hold into cruising it en the Hwy with the mild parallel twin motor design.
      No health issues I would still have the 690 for sure, but the Tenere is a much more versatile platform for motocamping, slabbing a long distance etc in my experience thus far …
