I have the same truck, you DO NOT have to remove all the stuff he did, so unnecessary. I usually like their videos but this one is not it. So many unnecessary steps.
I did it without messing with the cooling system a bit of a pain but I managed to get it off without taking that upper radiator hose off. Also be sure to take that hose connected to the reservoir and pump off obviously and be careful.
I'm not even in minute 8 and there are way too many steps to get to the pump, when you can skip most of them, that is how mechanics charge so much, thanks but no thanks
Did he reinstall the old pump just to annoy me? but now has a new pressure line. lol. Good information but I don't understand the wasted time putting the old one back on when he had a perfectly good new pump to install.

You forgot to remove the tailgate
Why did you take off the fan? I just did this job and only removed the pump. 2 hoses and 3 bolts and it comes right out the top. Super easy job.
I think he took the fan shroud off for the camera angle but maby he is just the kind of guy that does the MOST!
remember all these steps if for the dealer to add more hours to the bill
Might as well remove those pesky valve covers while you’re at it
Make sure to be careful with the o ring if it gets pinched it will cause a leak
You can do it without doing several of these steps it's not hard

Great instructional video. Looks like I’m buying more tools! Woot woot!
Why was the pump he put the pulley on black but the one he shows putting back on the truck is rusted and looks to be the same one he took off.

Does the power steering system need to be flushed before installing the new one.
You can just take it off without taking anything off first just be warned you might break the hose off the reservoir. It's very easy to do!

What about showing how to remove the pulley for people that didn't get one with the new power steering pump? Oh snap! And torque values!!!
It's on the drivers side no idea why you would take out the reservoir
I got mine off with a Sawzall, it was east that way.lol
thanks for a great video---I've had great luck with your parts as well
how do you not mention toque spec
Thanks for video
Terrible video, skips many steps. And which wheel did you remove at first? Not helpful at all.
You forgot to take the whole engine off ... 😅😅
Did i miss the torque specs???
Turned a 1.5 hr job into a 3 hour job by removing so much unnecessary stuff. lmao wtf is this
How would you know that your pump is bad?
Do not follow this. I just change mine and only took off the power steering pump. Lmbo!
