I was in tears by the end of this video 🥺 what an amazing journey you've had and what an inspiration you are ❤ I am only just starting out on my own journey to try and create some sort of business with my art. It feels so daunting! Six months after graduating art school I found out I was pregnant. That was a journey in itself as I thought I was never going to be a mother. Now I'm a full-time home school mama. I love it but I also love doing my art and want to take it further, but as I have so little spare time it's not easy. Staying motivated in itself is difficult which is why I love following you here and on Instagram. You are so real, and lovely and relatable, you make anything seem possible. I have learned so much from you especially when I bought my eco-tank printer. I’m a graphic designer by trade, and I needed to learn the ins and outs of starting my own thing (greeting cards & envelopes & stickers) and seeing what is fun to make and fun to sell, and to create packages and so forth. Thanks so much for sharing your trip to Etsy NYC. I was glad that you said being on Etsy wasn't always positive, as a lot of sellers feel they take too much of a cut into profits. I'd be willing to know what they said about that while you were there, as I'm sure it must have come up. But the real story is that you got to see NYC and be inspired by how far you've come from where you started. It's amazing that you only feel you've just begun! Fantastic what a monumental highlight for yourself both personally and for your business. It’s inspirational to watch for someone like myself - I finally made the decision to open my Etsy shop at the start of this year and my goal was to at least have one sale within the 1st year of opening it which I have 😊 - of course I’d love nothing more than to have more sales but it is hard to stay focused and not get discouraged whenever you release a new product but just hear crickets haha - I’d love nothing more than to have a successful and thriving business & to have my brand (Eli Jae) out there but also understand these things can take time so I’ll just keep plotting along and well, the universe will guide me in whichever direction I need to go 🤗 - thank you sharing with us all ❤️

Thanks so much for sharing your trip to Etsy NYC. I was glad that you said being on Etsy wasn't always positive, as a lot of sellers feel they take too much of a cut into profits. I'd be willing to know what they said about that while you were there, as I'm sure it must have come up. But the real story is that you got to see NYC and be inspired by how far you've come from where you started. It's amazing that you only feel you've just begun! I can't believe you forgot your coat!! Didn't NYC just have a snow storm or perhaps you just missed it? It was also fun seeing you in a different part of the US besides Disney. Not that Disney is bad but there's so much more in the U.S. Perhaps, you can make more trips around the U.S. *hint, hint*. I have been following you since September of 2018 and I believe you had just made your first vlog. Fantastic what a monumental highlight for yourself both personally and for your business. It’s inspirational to watch for someone like myself - I finally made the decision to open my Etsy shop at the start of this year and my goal was to at least have one sale within the 1st year of opening it which I have 😊 - of course I’d love nothing more than to have more sales but it is hard to stay focused and not get discouraged whenever you release a new product but just hear crickets haha - I’d love nothing more than to have a successful and thriving business & to have my brand (Eli Jae) out there but also understand these things can take time so I’ll just keep plotting along and well, the universe will guide me in whichever direction I need to go 🤗 - thank you sharing with us all ❤️
