@@bfFAN221 This is the argument that got supers gutted hard in SFV and it was an extremely unpopular design choice that compounded all the other Esports focused design decisions that drove casuals away. It turns out that casuals like flashy and cool things, how shocking.

Some toxic parts of the fighting game community complain about making fighting games more accessible, about how bringing in people who "can't play right" is somehow bad for the community, but really, making the gameplay accessible just shows that literal children have better skills than some of those guys.
There's a lot more to fighting games than just how well you can perform inputs, you can't win if you can't also handle spacing, timing, defense, meter management, etc., Easier inputs aren't really that big of a deal in the long run.

I can relate to battling an online opponent and the distraction of being a dad. It's why I don't play ranked when my son is up. Much easier to drop the controller during a casual/battle hub match.

3:16 yeah feels bad man. Think again the Drive Rush is fkng with the inputs. Thats what it seemed like. Thats what it feels like on my end at least when this happens, and it happens more often than not. Trying wake up DP on drive rush which is a clear counter in that moment (unless they have enough space to do a LP into block) and so many times it just doesn't come out. Could be online delay as well. Idk. I drop so many wake up reversals especially on Marisa now that I think of it. Wtf, she cursed or something? 😆 I mean its like the button didn't even compute, she didn't even get a counter or something (for the case that her move won or the input was wrong?)... idk... Happens a lot with Marisa. I mean the Drive Rush stutter here was way too small to be of a big issue. Anyway.
