I completely agree with you. I like the song and I like them, but it's really hard to not compare it to last year and I think that song and performance was a lot better. I'll be very happy for them if they win, they really deserve it, but there are other songs I like better this year.
I didn't think "In the Middle" was as good as "Move". Put it this way, I didn't think "In the Middle" was good enough to win Melodifestivalen 2021. As it happened, I ranked The Mamas 7th on My Eurovision Scoreboard last night.

I adore their voices and the Mama's themselves are amazing, but sadly I can't see this winning. Move was the stronger song - this just seems a bit basic whereas Move had the whole package. If this doesn't win I hope they return in the future... Dandi Danser has grown on me whereas Voices has grown off me. I'd like either Danny or Eric to win, but I think Eric could get the better result. Yes the lyrics are a a bit basic but so were the lyrics of Popular - and look how well that did! His personality is the most infectious and this will get him a good result.
Of course their song from 2020 was better, but I think it's unfair to compare I with "Move". For me, they're still good and the song is still pretty good. So I wouldn't mind to see them represent Sweden again. Btw, I rather see another country win this year than Sweden.

I think this song is better than Move. Move was almost as a gospel parody (although very well performed) in all of its cliches. This one is in the same genre but much more sophisticated. Besides, I thought it was both tasteless, fat-shaming and cruel when they sang "We're moving mountains."
I loved Too Late For Love, but I was disappointed by Move ...it was just 'meh' for me. This is great though, if they win (even though HRH Perrelli is my fav) I'll be ok.

I watch it every year from Japan, so it should be. It's usually only available for a short time though.
They were supposed to wear the gold clothes in eurovision 2020. I think move was better, felt more powerfull in a big arena
