This OS is a huge piece of sh"t, bought it for my grandma, and when i wanted to set it up for her to be easy to use (she only makes calls) it's amazingly limited, you cant change shortcuts and the vanilla ones are probably made by someone who has no concept of the term "ease of use", there is no way to change the theme of phone which makes the phone book very hard to see for someone of age, also there is no theme changer on app store...And to say from 3-4 flip phones on market this one was double the price of the panasonic and some other no name phone, 10/10 if i knew this i would have went with cheaper option.

The camera wants to know the location to geotag your photos. I mean that could be useful if you want to pull up a better photo than those 2 million pixel you have.

Because this phone is not the kind to make beautiful photos but more for handy pictures (ex : picture of that book's name, picture of that guy's face, picture of that bycicle). So that's why they didn't put a 8mpx in that phone. As well, it would slowdown the phone to make it manage a huge database of 8mpx pictures. That's not the market Nokia is aiming
Being as I hate touch screen phones (not got one ), and all these fancy apps which I do not use , I will be getting one of these . I do not need internet on a phone to scroll endlessly . Looks nice ...

Hi. On your phone, when you receive a message, does it provide any kind of notification to tell you that you have a message AFTER you have gotten it? Mine shows "New message" on the external display for 3 seconds but when I open the phone, it does not have a notification to show me I have a message and it does not have a "1" on the messages icon. So if my phone is in another room or I don't hear it straight away then I will never know I have a message. Is yours the same?

I understand why it has a 2mp camera. Technicians like me will send photos to each other (Pumps,valves, compressors etc) and we cant be bothered with those annoying messages " File is to large, reduce quality". Technicians at work don't do selfies .

And you know the performance of a cheap Android phone just sucks compared to flagship models. So it would never live up to my expectations. The Nokia, on the other hand, would. Because I don't have the same expectations of that phone. And it actually lives up to the expectations I have. I currently have a OnePlus 7 Pro, and a Galaxy S8+ as my secondary phone. I want to replace my S8+ with the Nokia, to kinda 'detox' from the internet/screentime, without losing key features such as WhatsApp. And for that, the Nokia is perfect 🙏
Very similar to my old Nokia 6131. Similar selection of ringtones, alarms, alerts and other menu options. Plus social media, WhatsApp and other modern utilities. A pity the reviewer didn't try to make a Wh'Ap voice call. It would be useful to know that the phone can do that. For a standby phone I would say a 2 Mp camera is OK, but the price should be £25 less. l agree that for £90 the camera should be at least 8 Mp and the sound quality should be better. Sounds as if a cheap loudspeaker has been used or it's not secured firmly, so that it rattles a bit.
Dozer it’s signal sim. I turned it off because I don’t use WhatsApp etc, I only turn the data on when I need it to maximise battery life. I had the Nokia 230 before this and even with the data on I would get minimum 8 days.
O well, I'm back, this really is a amazing phone, especially Google assistant which worked for a whole 2 days now it's chinese 😂😂😂. Of course i can't change it back. Well i thought this phone will be the one but it turned out it's just another proof we cant escape from smart phones

Nokia should bring back the C2 I used one for years in the UK, USA and The Bahamas always took great pictures with a 3.2 camera. It does have a voice recorder but if you needed to record a phone call for some reason, it does not do this.

It can't. Only does messages (including voice messages) and no WhatsApp Web option either.
