There's also "in a mug" mass produced desserts by Betty Crocker. Jackie isn't DoInG iT WrOnG! This just predates Tick Tok by about 8+ years.

What’s so funny to me is that people have been making that “whipped instant coffee” in prison for YEARS, and it’s just now becoming a big deal lol the only difference is that when making it the prison way you use instant coffee and sugar and whip it by hand until it’s that texture and then just eat it and it’s a sugary, sweet treat rather than putting it over milk.

Jackie that coffee was a boom at Korea called a Dalgona Coffee(Dalgona means like a hard toffee when you boil sugar and harden it)/ and you should put more sugar for a good taste and you should use a mix coffee or G7 coffee for a better taste or a faster mix
I think I know how Jackie fails at baking, cooking isn’t usually that exact. Normally you’re adding an ingredient to taste and a little bit more or less than a recipe (or a substitution) changes the final result in smaller ways. In baking that extra 5% of flour or olive oil swapped out for vegetable oil could easily turn a delicious cake into a frisbee (coincidentally that’s also why things like dairy or gluten free baking are so hard to make like the original recipe, especially texture-wise). Cooking is like an art, baking is like a science.
Yes. Epecially baking bread. I'm a week into playing with and tweaking the "consensus" version of approximately 1.2k recipies for soda bread I found on RUclips and ugh, have yet to accomplish actual. Soda. Bread. *saltiness intensifies*
@@minimuffins2880 Its the same for any food high in water content - Lettuce, Cucumber, Tomatoes etc =) Eating ice frequently, like - actively going out of your way to eat it, is a type of Pika (eating dissorder) and is a HUGE symptom of Anemia
At 18:22 the seasoning is called "everything but the bagel" and it a mix of stuff you put on an everything bagel. You can buy it at Trader Joes but I'm not sure they have that in Quebec so its basically just poppy seeds and other seeds, salt, and some herbs. I hope this was helpful!
Cooking is more like art, you can make changes, add seasonings, or make substitutions, and it (usually) still comes out okay, tasting yummy and still edible. Baking is more like science, where you can rarely use substitutions, and there is a reason for exact measurements or ingredients, otherwise you will have results you will not like, or (possibly) result in something inedible. I think you are probably a great cook because you are an awesome artist 😉 Baking just takes practice and measurement control with instructions (usually). Love your videos!
About the first one, when you said it's weird without eggs, i'm allergic to eggs and diary and a few other things so that's what I eat lmao. I actually got pretty good at baking because of it cuz it was hard to get store-bought desserts i could eat so i just decided to make them myself lol.
I believe the difference between “pigs in a blanket” & “franks in a blanket” is simply one being a pork based hotdog and the other being a beef based hotdog.
Growing up "pigs in a blanket" was just a breakfast sausage link and "franks in a blanket" was a hotdog mini or cut up. It could be a regional thing, kind of like "soda" and "pop."
@@mausable4538 Yeah, I assumed it was a regional difference. We call them pigs in a blanket here, and that goes for any hotdog/sausage wrapped in a croissant.
Did anyone else think of the song that goes "we will we will rock you" when you heard the first three items hit the table in the beginning? No, just me? Ok.....
The seasoning includes the brand on the bottle; it’s from Trader Joe’s, a whole food grocery chain. You can sub with sesame seeds, sea salt, dried minced garlic, dried minced onion, black sesame seeds and poppy seeds. The ingredients derived from an everything bagel, hence the name or the spice mix.
The pigs in a blanket are a BBQ/picnic classic. ^-^ I usually use cocktail weenies, which are more sausage-like. I usually don't use the extra butter, but a bit of (preferably flakey) salt on top makes a big difference.
I don't know if they're still there, but in 2014 I had some amazing churros from a food van in Hollywood (it was parked on Hollywood Boulevarde but a little down the road towards the Pod Share place). They had a "spicy" peanut caramel type sauce, and it was delicious. I usually prefer getting churros that are absolutely coated with sugar and cinnamon, but this dip was pretty fantastic.
Mugcake: Just replacing the water with one egg and adding cooking time ~ 2 mins it works perfect! I've done these many years and they are perfect for sweet tooth!
I also tried the pigs in a blanket and I really loved it so I can recommend it to anyone who wants to try it! It's really quick and easy to make and also really yummy ^^
Dont mind them your really special and that wont change, even if it hurts some one will always be by your side to help no matter what and the world is a better place if your in it dont let them take advatage of you I hope they will stop calling you those names 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

I’m really excited to try the coffee one and that surprise pigs in a blanket using crescent rolls thing I’ve been doing since I was knee-high to a grasshopper back in the 80s. Well minus the stuff on top because who needs that? Crescent rolls are delicious and so are hotdogs. Am I more savory or more sweet? When it comes to food I’m more savory, when it comes to drink I’m more sweet.
hey for all of you wondering for a good mug cake recipe i have one ingredients 3 tbs milk 3 tbs oil 1 tbs sugar 1/4 cup flour 1/4 cup nesquik 1/8 tsp baking powder pinch of salt dash of vanilla directions stir dry ingredients (including sugar) together then add wet ingredients and stir thoroughly cook for 1 min note: if you cant have milk you can swap it out for water

I was searching for this comment, thank you for telling her
I saw my favorite mukbanger make Dalgona Coffee by whisking it my hand

I think I know how Jackie fails at baking, cooking isn’t usually that exact. Normally you’re adding an ingredient to taste and a little bit more or less than a recipe (or a substitution) changes the final result in smaller ways. In baking that extra 5% of flour or olive oil swapped out for vegetable oil could easily turn a delicious cake into a frisbee (coincidentally that’s also why things like dairy or gluten free baking are so hard to make like the original recipe, especially texture-wise). Cooking is like an art, baking is like a science.
That is so deep but true

At 18:22 the seasoning is called "everything but the bagel" and it a mix of stuff you put on an everything bagel. You can buy it at Trader Joes but I'm not sure they have that in Quebec so its basically just poppy seeds and other seeds, salt, and some herbs. I hope this was helpful!
Discount Drug Mart has it as well.
Epicure sells a one as well. It’s an MLM.
No we don't have Trader Joe's in Canada.

That would have been a great way to advertise a sponsor 🤣
Cooking is more like art, you can make changes, add seasonings, or make substitutions, and it (usually) still comes out okay, tasting yummy and still edible. Baking is more like science, where you can rarely use substitutions, and there is a reason for exact measurements or ingredients, otherwise you will have results you will not like, or (possibly) result in something inedible. I think you are probably a great cook because you are an awesome artist 😉 Baking just takes practice and measurement control with instructions (usually). Love your videos!
Did watching the lipstick part remind anyone else of the "mood lipsticks" we had in the 90s? Or... is that just me?
I all the sudden can remember the smell of them too
About the first one, when you said it's weird without eggs, i'm allergic to eggs and diary and a few other things so that's what I eat lmao. I actually got pretty good at baking because of it cuz it was hard to get store-bought desserts i could eat so i just decided to make them myself lol.
most box mixes can be made with just the oil
That's so cool!!
I believe the difference between “pigs in a blanket” & “franks in a blanket” is simply one being a pork based hotdog and the other being a beef based hotdog.
Over here a pig in a blanket is different we wrap purs in bacon with cheese in the middle
That is very informative. Thank you
Growing up "pigs in a blanket" was just a breakfast sausage link and "franks in a blanket" was a hotdog mini or cut up. It could be a regional thing, kind of like "soda" and "pop."
We call a pig in blanket a sausage wrapped in bacon and what she made we would call more of a sausage roll
@@mausable4538 Yeah, I assumed it was a regional difference. We call them pigs in a blanket here, and that goes for any hotdog/sausage wrapped in a croissant.

Everyone: Cool! Imma try this.
The Greek + cypriots chilling with frappe: what?
Its a dalgona coffee and it works!!! It taste very good so try it!!!
The pigs in a blanket are a BBQ/picnic classic. ^-^ I usually use cocktail weenies, which are more sausage-like. I usually don't use the extra butter, but a bit of (preferably flakey) salt on top makes a big difference.
Jackie: I only had churros once
Sicka: I never had churros
Every Mexican: *gasps
I had churros yesterday
I don't know if they're still there, but in 2014 I had some amazing churros from a food van in Hollywood (it was parked on Hollywood Boulevarde but a little down the road towards the Pod Share place). They had a "spicy" peanut caramel type sauce, and it was delicious. I usually prefer getting churros that are absolutely coated with sugar and cinnamon, but this dip was pretty fantastic.
I can't even have churros lol 🙃

In the uk a pig in a blanket is a sausage wrapped in bacon. Sausage wrapped in pastry is a sausage roll and I've never seen it with a frankfurter before. Looks great, especially as a party food
