We do actually have these potato waffles in Germany, but the recipe is, that you mix half mashed potatoes (cooked) and half grated potatoes (uncooked) together with egg, seasoning, leek (very thin stripes) and finely diced ham.
They are really yummi. You can also fry them in a pan and are then called Kartoffel-Pfannkuchen (potato pancakes)
That really sounds delicious, I'm gonna try it, thank you for sharing

The Ramen one, they switch it with spaghetti. Pasta gets softer as it gets overcooked, noodles don't get as soft as pasta which is why it just got crispy instead of cooking together.

Aside from melting skittles together, its possible to make edible dough with starburst in a double boiler. You just use powdered sugar instead of flour. Its pretty fun we did it for a birthday party
Hi, sorry I'm very late to this video, we make pizza waffles at home. However, it's cooked differently than how they did it in 5 minute craft. We typically buy pre made dough (we like the crescent roll dough since it's already thin but roll it out as much as possible), roll out one layer, put some cheese and pepperoni on top of it (not too much), fold it over and pinch it closed. Cook until golden brown, our doesn't have a temperature gauge, we just turn it on. And when it's done, we serve it with a side/dip of marinara (we have bought some premade, they sell many different flavors). It's very delicious and simple.
Sounds similar to a calzone.
They didn’t show some of the hacks being eaten because Brad ate them before they could film

This should be called "How to ruin your waffle maker."
Especially with the thumbnail of the video example. That one IS a total lie (5min crafts thumbnail, not Jackie) and will ruin your waffle maker.
I feel like a majority of what that content farm does is damage appliances and cause injuries.
That was my first thought. Time to buy another waffle maker then!

For the pizza one, put the dough, toppings, then more dough on top. Like a pizza pocket. I think it might work

That is *not* any kind of biscuit dough. Biscuit dough is *dough*. That's batter at best; way too loose for a biscuit-making-thing.
Bisquit is what we call Sponge cake in German, so I guess thats what that is
Edit: i checked my dictionary, British English also sometimes uses that word
@@JasminKiechle Thanks, I didn't know that. Now I'm wondering whether any two countries in the world are referring to the same thing when they call something a "biscuit?" :D
Also from what I know Bisquick pancake mix can also be used to make biscuits...which I'm guessing is the etymology behind that brand name the "Bis" being short for biscuit and combined with quick. It means quick biscuits, but the mix could also be used for making pancakes and waffles.
I wonder if the difference between biscuits and pancakes/waffles is the amount of liquid ingredients and the types of wet ingredients.
Yes the British call, what we call in the US, cookies, biscuits.
@@angiepen No! The British mean a cookie
@@lazyhomebody1356 A cookie is a type of biscuit in the UK, but the terms aren't interchangeable. We would never refer to a digestive biscuit as a cookie, for example.
I noticed in the ones with the eggs. That somehow the yolk is perfectly round. One would think that in a waffle maker, that the yolk would not look that perfect.

So "Their dough doesn't rise" is no reason for concern. That means it has no levening agents in it. Not all dough rises, no levener no rise. Pizza dough doesn't have to rise. Non levened stuff isn't as poofy/airy, but it's otherwise the same and tastes fine, it's more of a texture thing. Though their dough still look gross either way tbh...
Pizza dough does rise cause it has a living organism in it (yeast) and the yeast produces Co2 (carbon dioxide) which causes pizza dough to rise
@@carsonsmondroski7339 nonleavened doughs like flatbread or pita though will not so that because they don’t have yeast
@@carsonsmondroski7339 Yeah thats why you do it without it sometimes lol it's not obligatory
The waffle ramen is little bit like baked pasta (but that has some egg, sometimes cream, and cheese mix with the pasta as well as some spices). The pasta does become bit softer with long baking, though at the top it can get crispy like your ramen.
I love how the yolk of the eggs was never crushed in the waffle maker!
Last cake minutes need :
“Biscuit” dough,
Divide dough in three equals parts
Add colour in each parts.
Cooked five waffles. Put layer of whipped cream between each one.
You know what’s it’s better: take away all the icing of your dumped cake. Mix it to have homogeneous icing, put it again on the cake. You don’t have to make a dough, cooked it five times, mount it with whipped cream, have some strawberries.

Those melted skittles are actually quite dangerous if it's kids trying these "hacks". Sugar has a high melting point (186 °C) and will give you easily 2nd to 3rd degree burns - and it clings to the skin.
Yep and it might have air bubbles too that can pop and splatter. Also like oil it will cling, burn and sink in.
I've already experienced this and I was making a cookie house and I was sturing melted sugar and if popped on me and now I have a scar from it because it stuck :)
And people wonder why Sugar Artists are so protective of their work and so careful. Not only is it so fragile but it's also dangerous.
I actually licked a hot spoon that was in Carmel...... Couldn't taste for days
I have a third degree burn on my thigh from when my sister thought it was a good idea to make candy apples unsupervised. She was 10, I was six. Luckily it was a tiny little dollop, but I can still remember the pain and that patch of skin absolutely melted, which left a horrible scar for life.

And the second was cutting out cute pictures and covering it in glue-gun glue, flattening it and repeat on the other side to make water-resistent key charms. They came out well, but do get damaged easier than normal plastic ones
Nerdecrafter: it's the son of a biskets birthday!
Me: almost dies laughing.
Nerdecrafter:basket cake for a son of a bisket!
1st thing- biscuit dough: this is a baking mix to make bread like biscuits, like in the American sense of the word biscuit, not cookies. It actually has a recipe on the box to make waffles/pancakes, so this is a normal thing, they just colored it. If you are interested in looking into it, a popular brand is called bisquick. Also, you were so excited about the potato waffles, that I have some tips for you! My family is German and we have a recipe for this. Make your mashed potatoes just as you did before, add an egg and flour to the mix. (The amount of flour depends on how much potato you have, for what you had on camera I would say somewhere between 2 tablespoons and a fourth of a cup) Use real butter or cooking spray to fully coat your waffle iron before you put the mix in and it should come out better. I spread a bit of butter on top of mine before eating, much like you would a pancake or waffle.
Thx 👍👍

The dislike for Brad is real. I almost died every time, "beady eyes and grabby hands". Son of biscuit batter! LOL, choking on soda!
Your favorite is also mine cause I just love corn dogs. I'm gonna have to try this method. But, I may utilize and mix in another recipe for corn dog muffins where you cut up the hot dog before placing it in the corn batter. I do have a suggestion for the waffle corn dog, though. Pre - cook your hot dog before you place it in the batter. My husband and I both love to *bake* our hot dogs in a 350° oven for at least 5 to 10 minutes or until a bit brown.) It really depends on which hot dog or sausages you use as to how long you will bake it. But, when you prepare them in the oven this way, they will come out looking and tasting like they've been smoked and grilled, though they have no actual grill marks. I will tell you how in our toaster oven, we have to place the temperature of it between 325° and 350°F ... more towards the 325° mark. If you (or anyone else ) try them this way, I hope you enjoy them as much as we do.
I do appreciate your advice.
My favourite pizza topping is brilliant in two ways - firstly, it's delicious (tomato sauce, cheese, tuna, sweetcorn and red onion) and secondly - no-one else likes it so my leftovers don't disappear and I get to have pizza for breakfast! 🍕
I'm going to guess that 5 minute crafts' waffle iron was never even turned on, and they just used fake props (or made in an oven instead) to make the 'waffles', particularly the noodle one.

We call Pogos "corndogs" in the US. Herbs is pronounced "erbs" with the h silent.
Herbs can be pronounced with or without a silent h. In the US is pronounced both ways depending which region you’re from, but it’s more commonly pronounced without the h.
I have lived in the U.S my whole life and I’ve heard people say herbs and erbs I guess it depends on the state. But you are absolutely right on the fact that we say Corndog I’ve never heard someone that lives in the U.S call them something different.
"We call Pogos "corndogs" in the US."
I mean, what's the point of saying this? Does that mean "pogo" isn't the """right""" way to call them? Or is it just a "fun fact"? Because, if it's the first, well there's not correct way to call these I guess since people in the US use "purée" as a verb and not to describe mashed potatoes. Huh.
@@empty-voiid purée is both a verb and a noun! There can be a potato purée. Any fruit or vegetable can be puréed and be called a purée.
