@@ricoco7891 that's what I said in my playthrough lol, but Kuze was always easy for me. first time I played this Awano actually put up more of a fight than any of his brothers did, but with Kuze you fight him like 5 freaking times. it's like the developers couldn't think of anyone else to use. now the first 3 times made sense somewhat since he got embarrassed the first time around, and had to cut his finger off. so I can see him wanting to back at Kiryu, but after the 3rd fight they had in the streets when Tachibana comes out of nowhere with the sports car, that should've been the end of there thing. but for whatever reason they decided to use him again when Tachibana was being tortured, and he wasn't even the guy doing the beating, he was just there. and then the last time you fight him made even less sense, he was outside the family office. Kuze was supposed to destroy the family office, but he didn't do, he made those men leave just so he can wait for Kiryu to show to fight him again. Kuze is too predictable, since he's mainly a boxer, as long as you stay out of his range he's very simple to beat.

It's shocking how similar a lot of these VAs look compared to their character. Some would have to change their hair style or be a little older or younger but still really accurate. Did they use face capture tech? Because if they did I feel like they are one of the few Japanese developers to use it.
It's a tradition with yakuza games, the characters normally always resemble the voice actors, I think they do this to make the characters seem believable and realistic
Did such a good job with the captains, I don't even speak Japanese but they all felt unique and like real people, the models were all after the actors themselves (most of them anyway) if you look at Sagawa and his actor, they're pretty much identical. Loved this game and can't wait to play the rest of the series!
B1g Ch13f81 apparently for a lot of the new Yakuza 0 only characters they hired famous Japanese crime movie actors to play them. They probably made them look like the actors so their audience would recognize them. Kind of like Norman Reedus/Mads Mikkelsen in Death Stranding

I recommend fans of this game to watch Takashi Miikes “dead or alive” yakuza film. It’s bizarree and the yakuza games definitely were inspired but it. Also the actors from this video are in it Hitoshi Ozawa, Riki Takeuchi, etc
I love the juxtaposition between Takaya Kuroda and Hidenari Ugaki - Kiryu is serious but voiced by this madlad in a fedora while Majima is voiced by just a normal guy in a cap. The similarities between the heads of the Dojima family and how hot Oda's voice actor is too.. Too much to handle man!
I’ve just finished this brilliant game. It was my first experience with Yakuza series. Couldn’t stop laughing when I saw Dojima for the first time and he reminded me of Wario :D
Yakuza 0 is probably my favorite Yakuza game ever. While it’s my first Yakuza game, it is so good. I just finished Kiwami two weeks ago, and playing through Kiwami 2.
