Really well played!👏👏👏💯💯💯🙏🙏🙏 I love the Swan🦢 Lake🤽🌊. I love the contrast between each piece: they each have their own character. Again, I love your enjoyment for this work.
Stuck at work on a bad day. Got a wisdom tooth that I really need to have removed. Been waiting too long like a silly person... I need to get on this asap lol. But hearing your playing just now? I feel a lot better all of the sudden. Thanks!
You always do such a fantastic job on these videos. You've come a long way since that day I first saw your contest entry! 😊It doesn't feel like it's been that long, does it? it's a beautiful piece, mixed to perfection, well done!
Well played, Kara! The ending was really hard for sure, and I could see you bracing for it in your face lol! It's great to see you learn new classical pieces, and all of Swan Lake including this part is really good. I've been playing game music lately, but I should learn new classical music too. I thought about the first or second movement of Moonlight Sonata or finishing up Mozart's Sonata #16 in C by learning the last movement and perfecting the first 2. At any rate, I look forward to hearing all of Swan Lake from you and any other classical pieces. Later!
@@KaraComparetto I definitely want to. I remembered I started learning Mozart's Sonata #8 in A minor and loved the sound of it. It's hard for me, but I've played the part of it I know again (first page or so) and I'm going to see how much further I can get!
During a live on Twitch (that week?), you couldn't stop playing Tchaikovsky. That's why you did that vidéo. Nice playing, I love classical music (one of my first passions).
Splendidly done, and with such enthusiasm! .... ... .. . I can't help but notice that you are creeping up on 50k subscribers. Do you have any plans to celebrate the milestone? You don't have to tell if you are planning a surprise.
@@KaraComparetto Well, I like the classics, but would rather have some game music myself. As you have already done all of FFVI (thank you very much) and many other FF tracks, might you consider another FF soundtrack play through? I understand that might be a tall order; so maybe a NieR, Zelda, or Chrono medley or possibly adventure into something new? But then you have the harpsichord available now as well. Ack, so much talent, so many options.
I didn't major in ballet, but the music is so cool. Where did you buy the sheet music? Can I do one song request? Ballet Swan Lake Act 2 Coda. I heard it a lot on radio classical music shows, and I think the piano version would be cool.
Oh I'm planning to record the entire ballet! So you will hear that one eventually. But I'm going in order :) I got the music off of imslp.org! It's the transcription by Langer
@@KaraComparetto I bought the sheet music from the site called Balletbook. There are a lot of repertoire, class score CD, and opera dance part score. There is no swan lake. please upload swan lake I wonder what the piano version will be like.
The Langer transcription- actually a combination of that and one other I don’t know the name of. The Langer one is missing some sections and repeats so I use the other to fill in :) you can find his on imslp.org!
@@KaraComparettoIs this really the only way to play this on the piano, having to piece together and fill stuff in? Theres no pdf out there to print with the whole thing? Or is that something you chose to do because you thought it sounded better? I think I'm to finally buckle down and learn this piece. Do you have a pdf you could email me if I gave you my email? Youre playing is so amazing, thanks for the inspiration.

Outstanding! Your playing always makes our tiny apartment feel like a grand hall.
I especially love the interesting catchy end ('Coda' part).
Whole ballet and the Nutcracker sound amazing on the piano!
I gotta get back to this project!!
You play with such feeling! The opening made me tear up. It was the soundtrack I played for so many hours from the game Loom when I was 11.
Oh wow thank you, and yes someone showed me that game! Thanks for listening to my swan lake videos :)
You'd love to play the game, the whole thing is swan lake!

@KaraComparetto Great, well I will keep a look out for any new pieces from the Swan Lake, then. 😀👍
Excellent as always. Good luck to your students on their upcoming recital!

Ah, what a pleasant soundtrack to have for the evening after a long day. Thanks for posting!
Thank you Philip!!
It's interesting how modern these pieces sound to my ears. They're quite sophisticated and out there compared to earlier periods of music.
