Hey I remember in my school I use this video to prank people to think it’s a fire drill and the alarms are all in continuous so I used the continuous part of this video
That's possible, I do have it as a 4-wire set up. My best guess is that most, if not all, industrial panels are built with a power supply that is made to work with the panel (and, likewise, the devices that go with it). I only have a spare that I found in my basement and a random Samsung supply that I found at the thrift store.
@@FrostedStrobes Yeah; I don't see them very often either; usually I see the speaker version or sometimes the electronic horn version. A building at my friend's university also still has several 4903-9219 horn/strobes in place, along with TrueAlert horn/strobes AND TrueAlert speaker/strobes! (System is a Simplex 4100ES voice-evac system replacing a 4100 panel.)
My favourite 4903.
This one actually sounds good for a mechanical horn. Like it sounds so clean. Some mechanical horns sound very worn out.
I remember seeing those in school!
these are rhe alarms my school use, but continious
These are what we had in my middle school but they had the continuous horn.
Oh well my elementary Robinson school had those alarms before they got new ones and replaced the old ones I
guess?
They’re set to code 3 btw
Fun Fact: The 9219 is a vibratone horn. The horn is a faraday horn. If you watch newageserveralarms video called unusual vibratone you will see
Yeah. A lot of us already know.
Nice video!
Thanks!
@@FrostedStrobes That is the Simplex 4903-9219

This thing kinda has a slight skip when the strobe flashes.
I'm not really sure why they do that to be honest...
I mean, I know it's because the strobe is drawing power but I don't hear it happen in other people's videos.
@@FrostedStrobes Its probably more noticeable in this video because there is no noise interrupting it. You have set up as 4-wire right?

@@FrostedStrobes Have you noticed skipping with any other alarms? (Besides Wheelock 700x)
My doctor's office has those horn/strobes on a Simplex 4020 system.
Cool! I rarely see these things in the wild, such a shame because they're so aesthetically pleasing.
Mine is the same but electronic i guess?

that well of a high pitch
Nice! Is there a way that I can program my 9219 in March Time without using a panel?
Unfortunately not.
@@FrostedStrobes Ok. Thanks.
@@FireRescue80 a time delay relay will work for it. Newageseveralarm has a time delay to sync his strobes.
@@vintagefirealarmguy5285 where can I get one? And what is a good brand?
18th with the beefy horn
How did you code this alarm?
It was connected to my control panel
Neat o! Also what does insert text mean? xD
it's for laughs!
Nice
Thanks!
