Built this with my son probably six years ago, so he would have been 7. Very kick ass build. We actually got the knock off set to save $$, but it was same quality
While Im sure u had fun... and its a good set... the bootleg set is not the sams. This set has far more parts as well. I own every building block Voltron available. And its not even close.
I had pre-ordered it when it was announced from the Lego store, my only issues are some of the ball joint sockets got super loose and the black lion side clips for the red lion arm side loosened up as well. At some point I'll probably try to get some replacement pieces, fortunately common pieces.

This is definitely my favourite lego set out of all My sets. As it brought back memories and was fun and exciting to build. Optimus Prime would be my 2nd favourite set. Highly Recommend
