Another Hi from New Zealand, some great topics on your channel. Just taken delivery of my own kiln this week, can’t wait to fire it up. Do you leave any area clear of glaze on the base of the pieces when firing.
Hi Derek and thanks for watching. How exciting to be getting your own kiln! You need to leave the whole of the bottom free of glaze or it will stick to the kiln shelf. There is a video on my channel about kiln cookies if you wanted to take a look.😀
Loving your unloadings....do you offer consultations? I think with the shut downs I am going to be increasing my firings and have already run into a few disappointing results---would like to find someone who is offering consults---perhaps to discuss what may have happened to cause the results and perhaps options (if any) that I can do to attempt to remedy the results... If you or someone else offers these consults could they be done via facetime and paid via paypal?
