- This mexican masons are called "Bovederos", with only their mason's spoon, without ceiling support, they seem to defy gravity with a technique perfected through many years in Mexico, and in a very short time they can construct a work of art of roof type vault or Dome.
The vaults, along with the arch "is proven to be one of the strongest structures that can be built, resisting historically for millennia, when they did not use rod or concrete. It supports a lot of weight, earthquakes, is fresh, and above all very beautiful .
This is part of what is the artisanal work of building a roof type Catalan vault in central Mexico, specifically in the state of Querétaro.
Bovederos can travel anywhere (even abroad) to build this type of roof.

Mi respeto desde Chile a estos trabajadores ( bueno a los Chilenos siempre, históricamente nos caen bien y respetamos mucho a los Mexicanos y su gente)

Trabajo en construcción aquí en Cataluña en España, la bóveda de catalana es originaria de aquí, pero aquí no se hace de este tipo,al menos yo no la ví. Aquí se hace con una cimbra y el ladrillo plano, se colocan dos o tres capas una encima de la otra y cruzadas de distinta forma para que no coincidan las juntas y quede mas fuerte. Aquí se mira mucho que vayan trabadas a la mitad y ahí no miráis tanto ese tema, de esa forma seria casi imposible colocar todas piezas en forma simétrica. Al final el resultado de vuestro trabajo es espectacular y mirando desde lejos en perspectiva si que se ven unas líneas y un patrón bastante definido. Me encanta. La de aquí y la de allí creo que mas aún, es mucho mas vistosa. Con las decoraciones ya raya la perfección. Me gustaría ir un mes o dos de vacaciones a México y aprender este tipo de construcción, no sé si sería posible, me encantaría, trabajaría gratis con tal de aprender a hacer esto, que maravilla por Dios. Probaré a hacer algo así en una casa antigua que tengo que rehabilitar. Saludos MAESTROS!!!
One thing that annoys me is that these skilled workers probably don't earn that much. And their skills are going out of extinction as too many people are looking for the easy way out without putting in the work.
I will like to learn from these masters for sure. ❤

Que te pasa eso es no conocer las bóvedas son milenarias y siguen en pie es más probable que el concreto que forman los castillos seda xq tiene un tiempo de vida muy corto y se empiece a debilitar y al suelo la obra de arte de estos maestros. Mis respetos para las personas que se dedican a hacer estás obras de arte
