Loved your experiences. I recently followed Fr Burke and his small group who walked the whole Camino, fortunately for us, Fr Burke uploaded a daily video so we were able "walk" with them. I was inspired by their praying the Rosary as they walked so I have been praying the Divine Mercy chaplet while walking, oh so slowly, through the Shropshire village I live in. Praying that the blessings of El Camino will stay with you always.

Hello Father's. Happy early Father's Day! I need some help please. Just realized this week my family has been under a covert spiritual attack for at least 20 years. I am not putting up with it for any longer, but, as you know, I have no magic spiritual wand. Yes, I am praying. Figuring that one out. I need advice from the Big Dogs. Help!! What can I read about generational family emotional trauma?

Sounds like you did not walk the Appalachian trail before. That is a good experience and you can make the trip as long as you like. You can turn it into a pilgrimage by finding churches off the trails (call an Uber ), or you can offer holy mass along the trail. Now THAT would be awesome for those who want to stay on this side of the Atlantic. Maybe a new option for Creatio.

Try a different Camino.....Del Norte or Primitivo. MUCH less crowded....more contemplative....more peaceful....more beautiful!

Not to put a damper on your crosses along on the super trip experience, but think of it this way: while you were struggling with your tired legs, there were lots of people who would have given most anything to have healthy legs to walk that trail with you. Ouch!
