This song hit me hard. It's like he's singing about my father. My dad can't outrun his karma. He's such a charmer as a narcissist. I know my dad is a bad person. He has lied and deceived people. Yet it must be lonely running from your karma. No one is going to let him in. And he knows. It's always going to chase him. Yet it's karma for all the hurt he's caused. You feel the sadness and anger in this song. It's a true masterpiece. Thank you Alec for writing this.

This is my favorite song of yours! I live in a really small country, and my school only has 500 students, so can you imagine how _excited_ I was when I heard one of my classmates humming this song?! Because there's so few students at our school, I already knew her (and everyone) fairly well, but we're much closer now. She's definitely not a "best friend" but happy to say there's a close relationship there.
