Hi! I tried doing the compatibility checker for my Hyundai Santa Fe 2014 V6 3.3L but the results said Data not found. Why is that? How would I know which model to buy?

Hi there! Thank you for your comment and sorry for the inconvenience! We did just test it on our end and it did work. Try using a different web browser, like Google Chrome. The 3030RS will work to read and clear the check engine light on a 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe.

The 3030RS will only read & clear check engine and ABS codes. If there U codes present in the vehicle's system, the code reader will pick them up. “U” indicates a problem with the vehicle's onboard computers and integration functions that the OBD manages which are usually electrical or wiring issues.
You would need the 3130RS/5410 models or above the read the vehicle's electrical system through module scan

How did you reset the check engine light ?

Hello Jack, on the 3030RS, you must have it connected to the vehicle with the trouble code displaying on the 3030RS's display. With the code displaying and the tool connected, press and release the red erase button on the top left. The device will then ask you for a confirmation to delete codes, simply highlight and press Yes. You will then get a message that the erase was successful, at which you can then start the vehicles engine to confirm.
