      Years of building a brand and a social media presence to be outshone by a foam hand 🥲

    Hey I have a question...I replaced 3 solenoid to my front pump...I have to replace again...all wired are good and tight. Batteries are charged ...sometimes when I hit the up switch the pump spins longer than usual ..that's when it blow a solenoid

      Are you just tapping the switch or holding it on? Are you using switch extensions?

    Hey bro i have a 2 pump set up 4 batts... For some reason when i hit the switch i cant lift or dump the car. it is stuck where its at. When i hit the switch up there is a motor noise. i was told by a local lowrider shop that it was the pump heads seized up. But from my understanding to dump it, the head does not need to spin, the valve should just open and allow the fluid back into the tank? Any suggestion or idea of what could be the cause?

      Hay J M, do you get any clicking noise when you hit the dump switch? It could be there’s an issue with either the dump, switch or as we’ve seen recently the check valve could be blocked with debris.

      What size cable are you running? And have you checked all your terminals are good and tight? Or your earths are metal to metal and there’s no paint between the surfaces?

    How would you know if a solenoid has gone bad?

    • @LayNPlayTV
      @LayNPlayTV  2 года назад

      There’s two main ways a solenoid will fail, they can stick open (you hit the switch and nothing happens - but if you have more than one solenoid you’ll hear the others clicking), or they can stick closed, which means the power will continue to flow when you’re not hitting the switch, when this happens the motors will continue to spin until you pull the disconnect which can cause your motors to burn out, but this is why you run multiple solenoids, if one sticks shut, you want the others to stay open to stop the current continuing.

      So you can hear this from the front when hitting switches?
