    I'm so sorry that happened to you. I haven't heard good things about them at all. I know of others who have had a really difficult time trying to communicate with them as well. I have no first hand experience so take what I'm saying with a grain of salt but after seeing your video, if I had doubts before about ordering from them before, don't anymore. Thanks for following through with letting us know about your communication with them. I think videos like this are really helpful. 😊💚🌿

    I was going to order from them but I found they were expensive, although plantsmeow had a good experience. That’s why I pay through PayPal just in case I need to file a claim. Thankfully I haven’t had to. But that’s crazy. Your better than me because I would have been pissed.

      The Potted Couple Yeah they’re definitely expensive but I was hoping it would be worth it since they are more rare plants. I’m really upset but idk what else I can do 🤷‍♀️

    So brave to have posted this. I honestly get that shipping from overseas is necessary to get some of these rare beauties, but it's so risky! I've always been scared to try it, but definitely after seeing this video I'm going to think twice before ever doing it. Much love ❤.

      Andrew Rogers I’ve ordered from other overseas sellers and had better experiences. Plants that cost less and were in the mail longer, but showed up in WAY better condition. You should check out some of my other videos to see for yourself!

    I'm soo sorry to hear about your experience. I've ordered from them 6 times since May and I've been really lucky to have my beauties survive, 98% of them having healthy root systems (they quickly replaced the ones that were suspect, no charge to me). Hoping you have better lucky next time!!!

    I just placed an order a couple of days ago from the same seller, this unboxing is giving me second thoughts. Hopefully the seller makes it right and you can salvage some. Please keep us updated on the seller's response and your plants!

      steffiejoe I’ve ordered a lot, both from the states and overseas, and luckily it doesn’t seem to be making much of a difference.

    When it comes to indonesian plants, i've seen many good review from greenspace.id, they have a good price too, they should not pack those plant with stereofoam coz it dont absorb water

    They prob shouldn’t have used a styrofoam box there was no way moisture would have been able to escape that 😔 so sorry about this

      mardel3 they were only willing to reimburse the Alocasia Frydek variegated, and only after I basically demanded it.

    I don't believe this is completely the sellers fault. The box could've traveled through some bad weather increasing humidity inside the box. I mean they didn't place the plants inside the box in that condition. Now the issue with the Fl Beauty, I can feel you on.

      Noreaka Bell I usually try to give companies that same benefit of the doubt. However in this case, they sent me pictures of the “exact pant” I would receive and the plants I received didn’t match what I was sold. And I don’t just mean the damage to the plants. For example, the Alocasia Dragon Scale was supposed to have 5 leaves. The one I received only had 2 leaves, both yellowed and one snapped. I personally fault the seller for my shipment not matching what I paid for at all.

      Jenna M thank you, it’s definitely a long road ahead! And no I definitely don’t do my own nails lol, I’ve tried and failed. I go to a nail salon and pay someone more talented than me to do it.

    Is there any seller you would reccommend? I was approached by a number of sellers from Indonesia but I am struggling to find one that has enough credentials to convince me to buy from them. Any advice? I am from the UK btw

    I asked them so many times to send me a list with plants and prices and they kept saying which ones i want. I said well i want different types, just send me a list. We had this conversation three times and then i just gave up. Im glad i did. Im sorry you had a bad experience.

    Damn. I bet it had to do with the styrofoam packaging, keeping everything super moist on the inside... that’s super shitty. 😭 Going to watch the updates right after this.

    im sorry that happened to you, ive heard great things from this seller but alocasias dont ship well period. Ive already convinced myself (my alocasias havent even shipped yet) but im calling it a loss. But if they come in great condition then cool!

      Lainaboo a plant losing it leaves from shock is normal when shipping Alocasias. The leaves being mushy, the roots AND bulb being rotted, is not normal shipping damage. That’s shipping an unhealthy plant with bad shipping practices. I hope yours show up in great condition! But be willing to stand up for yourself as a consumer if they show up in bad condition ❤️

    Why were they so wet? 😱 With your experience from getting overseas plant shipments, what's the best way to package the plants??

      Pola Bieluczyk it depends on the plant honestly and it’s needs. A finicky plant will have different shipping requirements than an easier plant. But sellers from overseas rarely do anything other than ship them bare root wrapped in wet paper, which puts them into shock right before the shipment and almost guarantees some form of rot. But they do it to save shipping costs because the plants take up less space. Also because of phyto sanity, most overseas sellers HAVE to ship them with nothing else in the packaging...but you can also tell when it’s more than just shipping damage. These plants were definitely not healthy before being shipped and then had way too much moisture on them during shipment which caused rotting of the roots, leaves and bulbs.

    You dont order alocasia or syngonium from indonesia where you know they are gonna be in shippoing for a WEEK period.

      Plant My Happy Space And you did it at your own risk... And the risk is hight! So dont cry in the internet that Its the seller (that noone else had problem with) fault. Maybe some of the nights were colder, Who knows.

This video is out there so people can weigh the risk FOR THEMSELVES. You’re entitled to your opinion. And I stand by mine. No crying necessary 😎✌️

    I'm so sad in your place! 😪 The refund you got for only the frydek is not enough! The seller saying it's normal shipping damage.... that makes me so mad!

      Bieke De Klerck yeah I definitely had to correct them. I’ve ordered MANY plants, from overseas and stateside. I know to expect shipping damage and I know to which extent, shipping damage is normal. And this was definitely a case of shipping unhealthy plants and poor shipping habits. It seems like they agreed to refund only the Frydek as a compromise and not because they believe it, or any of the other plants actually needed to be refunded.

      Bieke De Klerck I’m inclined to agree with you. It definitely sucked on my end. I hope other people either have a better experience or learn from this video and choose from a different seller. I have other videos of MUCH better unboxing as from better sellers.

    So sorry 😞 this was one of the worst plants from overseas I have seen they should've given u a full refund or offered to send more plants at their expense, have u tried greenspace ID don't give up thanks for sharing.

      Danielle E I tagged them the Instagram post linked to this video and they haven’t messaged me about anything. Unless they suddenly got a huge decline in sales and incline of bad reviews, they’re not going to care about my review video. But honestly it helps some one before they purchase from this seller.

    Wow - this is the worst plant unboxing I’ve seen (not your vid, the quality of the plants!). So heartbreaking. You should’ve gotten much more of your $ back than just the one plant 😞
