It is absolutely necessary to learn this for that most depressing cancer to save me from any surprises if I am ever diagnosed with it. I’m so grateful for this education. Love and hugs and see you next week on grading Epithelial Ovarian Cancer. 💕
Forgot to add a question…can a piece of the saran wrap (☺) , all by itself, be used for diagnosing or does it have to be attached to the ovary? This is if having all female organs removed at that time.
Dr Taylor, this is so helpful! Are gyn ultrasounds performed over abdomen of no use at all to spot an ovarian swelling? I needed to get a gyn doppler ultrasound for a different reason and was told it would detet ovarian swelling. I am wondering whether that was not true at all. In postmenopausal women is ovarian swelling usually cancer (even if it is not epitheliial cancer) Or put it differently, can ovarian swelling in postmenopausal women be sth other than cancer? Thanks and Happy holidays

Any genetic testing ? why the medical community has not done more advanced steps ? Does it has to do with funding?
