Thank you.
I just want to say you are God sent. I have been taking all the supplements you have listed for the past 4 months. I've also incorporated Vitamin D3, Vitamin B12, Saw Palmetto, and a scalp massaging tool to stimulate blood flow.
I've always worked out and drank smoothies, so I'm sure that helps as well.
The thinning spot in my crown is almost completely full. My hair is thickening and growing like wildfire and just looks so much healthier.
My confidence has boosted and I am thankful to have found your channel.
I am so happy for you @tyneshawright7719!!!💛 Thank you for sharing your update!!

Thank you so much! You're welcome!
The beauty of RUclips is you can find your people 🙂. Thank you for sharing your journey and discoveries. I was recently diagnosed with ccca, and I have opted to take a natural approach, so the info in this video is very helpful. Wishing you much success.
You're welcome! I'm so glad we found each other. Wishing you healing and success too!
It's been over a year since this video was posted and I'm so glad that the content is helpful! Checking in to let you know that since recording this video, I've learned that Vitamin D3 works best when combined with K2 (brainmd.com/blog/benefits-of-vitamin-d3-k2/). Please ALWAYS check with your doctor before adding in any supplements. Praying health and healing to all💛!
Make sure to take iron if you have low iron but not at the same time as tumeric. It reduces iron.
So if you are taking iron pills when would you take them?
I am so happy to have found you and your channel. I was diagnosed with CCCA last year but I hadn't had any hair loss until this past month, despite steroid injections. Suddenly, small bald patches began to appear! I was very discouraged. The Lord has used you to encourage me to fight the hair loss. Thank you!
So glad He directed you here! You'll get through this! There's also a CCCA Facebook group that has been really helpful for me and you're welcome to join! facebook.com/groups/ccca.alopecia
@@nourishyourcrown Thank you!
Hi @talyaT922 I was recently diagnosed with CCCA as well and my dermatologist immediately started steroid injections as a preventative treatment. After my second injection that is when I noticed my first bald spot . How has your journey been ? Have you noticed any regrowth in your patches ?
Thank you so much for doing this video. I was diagnosed with ccca alopecia and have some scarring in the top of my head. It hasn’t been an easy journey. But God has taught me to be patient during this process. I’ve been consistently seeing a dermatologist, praying and staying away from damaging hair styles. By doing this I’ve seen a lot of progress. Most importantly I’ve learned to embrace my natural hair. Also, having a daily and weekly hair regimen has help to regrow my hair. It’s definitely a slow process but I’ve learned to be patient and trust the process. I will certainly be adding these supplements to my daily regimen.
You're welcome! Thank you for sharing your story. It's helpful to hear how others are navigating this journey. So glad that you are seeing progress!
Tumeri and black pepper
My Derm told me that once scarring has begun, there is no way back. I'm so confused 😢

Have you made any progress?
Sis, Thank you so much for sharing this very informative and comprehensive video.. I knew about the hair benefits of Vitamin D, but it also works wonders on your skin and magnesium is absolutely a wonder mineral! It regulates your bowels, is an effective sleep aid, is good for your heart, and is good for your skin and hair as well!🌷
You're welcome! Thanks for sharing too!
Listen to me, Vit D changed my life
Thanks for sharing and watching!
Please tell me how? I’m loosing hair but because my hair is so thick, the average eye can’t see but “I” know. I’m going to start taking vitamins D and iron pills again.
@@darnellawilliams6769 Same here. Don't give up getting to the root of the problem. And if you wear braids, ponytails, wigs or weaves and stocking caps, Stop! Those hairstyles could be the issue.
Hi madam is it suree? What your saying?
How so?
Kudos, Bravo, standing ovation and cheers to you for one of the best presentations and recommended treatment I have heard for alopecia on RUclips. Your comments are concise, factually based, and you share photos. I have little use for unnecessary background music, hand clapping, lip smacking, etc etc. I’m old, and need relevant content. ❤ ur video!
So glad the video is helpful! Your comment had me 😂. Thank you for the laughter!
@@nourishyourcrown 😎
This was soooo spot on! You have to start with seeing a doctor first to get to the root cause. Thank you for the wonderful info!
I subbed because you are a beautiful woman and a wealth of information. I’ve had this bald spot for 5 years. I had the biopsy and the derm said it’s traction alopecia. Interestingly, I don’t wear any braids or sew ins. She went on to say traction alopecia can spread. It isn’t adding up. I’ve put off using the steroid cream until I see a trichologist. I am deficient in D and mag. I will def get those, as well as turmeric and the pumpkin. I am also changing my diet and incorporating exercise. We got this. ☺️
Welcome to the channel! I'm glad that you're able to get a second opinion. Sometimes we have to be strong advocates for ourselves especially when the professionals may not. It's great that you figured out the Vitman D and Mag deficiencies! You're right - we got this!
@@nourishyourcrown Thank you for sharing the video. I need your help sis . What oil can you recommend me to mix with pumpkinseed oil. My hair is not growing for two years I’ve watched all the videos on RUclips nothing is helping I have a blade spot in my hair. And what shampoo can I use
You're welcome! Since everyone's experience with alopecia is very individualized and may be caused by numerous factors, I'm not able to recommend any products specifically for you. My first recommendation is always to try to find a dermatologist and/or a trichologist to get a formal diagnosis and then begin to figure out a path forward. The YT channel BlackHairandSkinCare has hair loss product recommendations that they make and that might be another good resource for you.
Thank you so much. Can I mix essential oil with pumpkin seed oil or just on his own
That's a great question. I've seen on RUclips and in research articles that good carrier oils for essential oils are sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, and olive oil and the primary oil. Curly Chemistry (RUclips) has good videos on mixing essential oils and so does the StarPuppy channel. For example, I've seen people (and I have personally) used jojoba oil as the primary oil, added in a small amount of pumpkin seed oil and then a few drops of the essential oil. StarPuppy has a lot of hair oil recipe options.
I wanted to commend you for a professional, coherent video that gives pertinent information quickly. You are very organized. Yoi listed the supplements in the description. You have a model video on RUclips. You've helped me greatly. Thank you.
Wow, thank you! So glad the content was helpful!
I am doing a 40 day fast from Candy, cookies, and all pastries. For my hair and to monitor my A1C.

Great video. Look into saw palmetto as well. I had been taking all of those supplements. But when I added saw palmetto supplement to my diet. My hair was been growing faster than I can keep up with. Just look it up!
Awesome.. can you recommend a good brand of saw palmetto❤
Thank you for this info. If you wish, please tell us the brand.
Thank you so much, I started my scarring back in 2018 and you are the first one that has actually giving me some hope
Glad you found this information helpful!
This is true many dermatologist downplay hair regrowth in certain scarring of alopecias, when the truth is a vast number of the hair follicles of hair shed early on can still regrow hair if 1. Inflammation is countered ASAP 2. Massive targeted nutrition is followed every day! And all of the foods and supplements mentioned are very good for you!

Hey sis 👋🏼 thx for the info. I had a biopsy last summer found I was low in iron, had traction alopecia around my edges and CCCA in the middle of my head.
I had 6 mos of iron infusions and injections and topical steroid cream. I saw progress but was concerned about the topical cream over time.
Then I found all these YT vids about natural remedies like onion juice for the sulfur, rosemary infused olive oil, clove water. I stopped the cream and tried these things and cut and relaxed my hair again so it could go outside with a short cut that could lay to cover my sides. All summer I was comfortable just molding my hair into some waves and going out to get sun. My hair had not been exposed for years. I wore wigs or a scarf w/a hat all the time.
I do take vit D3, iron and magnesium but will incorporate pumpkin seed and spearmint. Recently started making golden milk in the morning w turmeric, pepper, ginger and cinnamon.
Have you heard of a treatment with red light and blue light? I saw this YT vid of a Dr talking about her remedy. She’s in ATL. She also said don’t relax but you can get knotless braids. Considering that cause it would allow me to go outside and give my scalp a chance to get air and sun.
Is clove water helping you?
My hair is just like yours on the picture, thank you for sharing your knowledge. May the almighty God bless you and I am going to buy all the vitamins that you have mentioned here💖. Once again thank you 🙏🏾🙏🏾🥰🥰🥰🥰
You are so welcome! Also, keep in mind that there are some additional factors that supported as well like nutrition, self-care, eliminating food triggers, etc. There are more details in my "One Year in Review" that provides even more details of the things that I did (or didn't do) that helped the regrowth process, in addition to the supplements. Glad the content was helpful! Praying with you!
Thank you for sharing your journey with CCCA. Your hair seems to be growing in nicely and it doesn't look like you have any more issues with your scalp. That's awesome. I will be trying all the vitamins and supplements you suggested.
You're welcome and Thank you so much, Charlotte! I did have a bit of a set back after having COVID earlier this year. Check out the "Let's Talk Alopecia" video where I go into more details about what happened. I'm back in recovery mode now and thankful that the massive shedding has stopped.

A note on turmeric there is a thing called golden paste (make it yourself) and you can make a delicious golden milk latte!
I love golden milk lattes! Thanks for sharing!
Just saw your video and I was a amazed. I take vitamin D3 with K2. The K2 is so important as it direct the calcium to you bones.
Thank you so much for this list and the pictures as proof that your supplementation works. I was diagnosed with Alopecia (I can't remember the actual version), but the dermatolgist told me after all of the injections that I had done and the tests that she performed there was nothing that can be done for it. I don't have actual bald spots, there is hair there, it is just sparse. It is in my crown and the front. I just noticed a few days ago that it is spreading some. I will definitely be giving your supplements a try.
You're welcome! Glad the content is helpful.
Rosemary works like Minoxidol
Great video so happy i found your video. I am in the process of seeing a dermatology because my hair has thin out so much. I was natural for 9 years and it started changes and I decided to go back to a relaxer. Now that i am relaxed i can really see how my hair has really thin out. I really regret that I went back to a relaxer. I have researched and found out that if your D3 levels are low that can have a contributing factor to hair loss and sure enough my levels were low and now I do take a prescribed D3 pill. But i am also a women of maturity and my hormones may also has something to do with it as well perimenopause lol. thank you so much I will look into this vitamins as well and talk to my doctor.
Thank you beautiful Queen for an awesome video. Just subscribed:) This is the second video of yours I watched and they confirm that I have this disorder, unfortunately. Your pics look like my pics. I think I have PCOS too. Have growth on my chin and neck (so embarrassing). But my GYN said I don't have enough symptoms for PCOS (Have to have 3 or more). I plan on a big chop next month and try to get an appointment with a dermatologist soon. Thank you for these supplements. I will use your links to purchase so that I can start them once I am officially diagnosed. Will continue to watch your videos during my journey. Your hair looks great and so does your skin. Keep doing what you're doing. Wishing you continued blessings, health, wealth, prosperity, abundance, love, and happiness. God Bless!

Be careful with taking Magnesium, make sure you’re not taking magnesium supplements with oxide, Magnesium Glycinate is what is direct by the Mayo Clinic. But please go to the site it will tell you the good and bad magnesium. I also spoke to my PC and he said oxide is magnesium found in epsom salt.
Thank You Never That
I take A quality MagOx for occasional constipation.
Thank you soooooo much😢 I've been taking magnesium and it does have oxide and yes since I've been taking this is when I notice my hair lost!!!
Magnesium oxide is poorly absorbed hence you get the runs.
Magnesium Citrate is better as it both absorbs and helps with regularity
Magnesium BisGlycinate is ideal as it helps with gut and mitochondria
Magnesium Threonate is another form for mind
Magnesium Taurate may help the heart and mind too
Epsom Salt is Magnesium SULPHATE
Great video. I love your positivity
Thank you for watching and for your kind words!

My dermatologist recommended minoxidil. I’ve started getting the injections. I’m on vtamin d, zinc, saw palmetto, black seed oil. No bald spots but very thin fragile hair. It breaks easily
I’ve been using baby don’t be bald (the blue and the red extra strength one) its been thickening up my hair. Also use Jamaican black castor oil a few times a week in that spot.
Stress...add Royal Jelly
By boiling cloves, thyme and rosemary. Let it cool down .when washing your hair , condionned, poor the cool infusion on the hair and then set. The hair will get thicker.

When I noticed bald on my scalp I went to a dermatologist and was diagnosed with alopecia areata and plus he ordered some blood work which came back very low in Vitamin D so he prescribed some Vitamin D capsules for me and I got some shots to my scalp to help with my hair growth.
You are a true Queen 👑, thank you so much for the update,
I am so happy for your channel and grateful. That pumpkin is supposed to be great for ccca. I have low vitamin d I want to do the vitamin do protocol of 10,000 a day and 50,000 a week. I have seen people whose hair loss conditioners were made much much worse with vitamin d deficiency. I have been taking magnesium too. I use sweet almond oil which has magnesium in it in my oil blend.I also have pumpkin seed oil in it and am considering adding clary sage and spearmint essential oils. I am in a magnesium facebook group and I want to do their protocol as well because I was told i needed more than the vitamin in the store.
Glad that you found the content helfpul! I'm a huge fan of magnesium and take it regularly too!
@@nourishyourcrown thank you. do you notice a difference in the texture of the hair that grew back?
Yes, I have noticed a slight difference. I basically ended up getting a big chop so the hair that is growing out now, for the most part, is stronger and there is more density. I still have multiple textures throughout with the back and front top having looser curls and the rest very very tightly coiled.
@@nourishyourcrown My hair is tightly coiled in the back too. Would you say your hair has become coarser in strand size? more or less porous? I am wondering if my hair will be less porous after all these supplements.
I just met with my stylist the other day and she said that I have lower porosity (same as before), average density and because of the volume of hair, the strands it looks thicker.
I really like this video. I have a dx if ccca, and have really been struggling with what to do. I’ve also had labs indicating inflammation. Will try these supplements! Thank you!

Thank you for your very informative video. Question for you; what was your reason for trying the TJ brand of magnesium? Did you try any other brands? Thank you in advance for your response.

I'm glad I found this...do you use all these products?....I'm trying to find a good dermatologist...very hard some don't take
You serious frustrated.
Glad this was helpful! Yes, I do use them all. These have all been beneficial with helping some of my symptoms. Taking them along with focusing on nutrition (and eliminating triggers) as well as managing stress were the primary things that I've done and I believe they have helped stop the major loss and start regrowth. I agree about the difficulty with finding a dermatologist, my first visit was horrible but I eventually found a good one.
