So before our trip down the coast of California from San Jose to Los Angeles over the time of 5 days, we reset our trip computer and ended up with 19 MPG. So that includes some city driving, but definitely not as much driving in traffic. The fuel economy drops pretty dramatically when we are in town or in traffic. Also, keep in mind that the car is a RWD vehicle so the fuel economy may be worse in the 4WD versions.
I try to do this but unfortunately I did not have the opportunity to do so. Also, the car was extremely scratched already (car rental companies) so it looked pretty terrible in the first place.

How is the ride? I test drove one, it was harsh! I heard a mixture review of soft and harsh ride from others.
I would say it was a mixture, over some bumpier roads the ride can be a little jittery, however, it does deal with larger bumps decently.
