I've been behind the wheel of one. It's atrocious. And that's coming from someone who daily drives a Hyundai Santa Fe, and had a Range Rover before it.
I haven't driven an Escalade but I have driven the closest thing to it, which is the Yukon Denali. I wasn't impressed with how it drove

Glad I'm not the only one know notices that.
Never thought I'd say this about an Escalade, but I like it! It makes no apologies as a huge ass American SUV with an excellent attention to detail and refinement.
After watching the 2015 Cadillac Escalade reviews for months now, this video is by far one of the most in-depth video out of the bunch and you make it seem so easy, like always.
At 4:17: "If you've ever driven the previous generation of the Escalade..." Then a pearl white previous generation Escalade comes up at the same time he says it, perfect timing!
The electronic instrument cluster is a really nice touch. It looks awesome. Makes everything seem a lot cleaner, simpler, and sleek.
It looks like your driving half off the road, it's huge! Great video as always Kyle keep them coming!

As a Ford Guy, I actually have to say I like it. I'm impressed what they have done with it. But I don't know about the Tail lights... and those mirrors look tiny lol! But either way this is nice! Def. a good competitor to the Navigator... which sadly no longer comes with a V8. But wow this Escalade has a nice sound to it too.
And the ugly shifter off the steering colum. Too truck-like.
The column shifter is actually my favorite gear selector

That One Ford Guy Personally I dont think Lincoln even competes with cadillac any more ford has not been keeping up with them at all it is kind of sad. I think a proper competitor for Lincoln cars would be Buick and for the Navigator probably the Yukon

Brandon James I've driven many ones, my total Escalade odometer for the 3 I've driven was roughly 1,800 (usually rental cars) miles, and let me tell you - they're absolutely horrible.
Rental car selection is surprisingly bad sometimes.
***** whatever, I would still take an Excursion with the 7.3 Powerstroke Turbo Diesel V8 over an Escalade

I just got the 2015 Platinum version of this after having a 2013 Platinum, and if I had to change anything on this vehicle, it would have to be the rear lights, they look too much like a Volvo to me, but besides that, its probably the top Luxury 8-Seat SUV on the market right now.

This caddy looks good in person. Some old bloke in town has the small wheel base escalade and I didn't like it in pictures at first, until I've seen it drive past me down the road.

I love how GM has kept the shift column on the steering wheel for all these years in there trucks. In my opinion its not a real truck if the shift column isn't on the steering wheel. I also love it how GM still uses OHV and has the most fuel efficient full size SUV in its class, not too mention they use the old push rod technology in all there V8's and is still able too kick most sports cars asses on the track, looking at you GayT-R. LMFAO!!!
There are some discrepancies in biased ranking; in spite of that Escalade 2015 -2016 holds large equity premium market indeed towards that criterial point (s) of competitive results, these are major inventory to retail sales:
1. G 80 - G 85 traction differential
2. Artistic crystal like style of exterior above that of prev still Art & Science styling theme
3. More creature comforts
4. warranty coverage

Trikster1of4 I never said anything about the GT-R. I don't do drag racing unless I'm going to a drag strip. And if I do go to a drag strip, I'm always driving a purpose-built drag car. And I almost never go to a track either.
You are right about why someone would take this over a, like you said. QX80 or a G-Wagen. I'm not the biggest fan of the QX80 (mostly because of the styling), but at least it is much better than an Escalade. I love G-Wagens though. If only I could drive one - specifically a 6-wheeled AMG one. Because why wouldn't you have an impractical 6-wheeled 500HP gun on wheels?

Although I like German cars, I am very sick of people saying that the Americans never produced a good car. Pretty much all the Caddies up until 2003-ish were beastly luxury machines. They were glorious. But when the recession hit.... goodbye American cars. This is why our cars have a rep for being cheap. It's because we had a major economic recession.

They had better take the damn luxury title! I really wish American cars would get a good rep once again. What I think that GM should focus on is reliability and power delivery, and then touchscreens and that stuff later. It's like the old saying goes- if you put a dress on a pig, it's still a pig.
I couldn't agree more, the only German cars I like are Audi, but even I know they tend to break down and have a shit tone of problems. BMWs are a joke and Mercedes are for older men who lease them to basically say, "I,m a manager/co-manager of a small company who's having a midlife crisis and can't handle the superior power and luxury of America's Cadillacs and Britains Jagurars!!!"
We are looking at a 2015 now. Looks super nice. Towing capacity is what were were looking for. Luxury is a added bonus. Great vid as always. You should do an ASMR video where you just open doors, touch things, walk around the vehicle. Soft talking.

a neighbor of mine has one of these already heavily modified , thing almost looks like a different vehicle. people may bash it but it has some serious potential to be uniquely modded out.
I always love Cadillacs, they look, drive and feel like American BMWs, Audis and Mercedes. I used to have an El Dorado and was yellow. :-)
one thing I HATED about this new escalade is those god awful taillights.
Why? Personally for me, I like the taillights in teh Escalade. They look somewhat attractive and distinctive looking.

Explain to me how it isn't lol. For one thing, its tail lights are absolutely retarded. Then you could mention its obnoxiously huge fake chrome grill which is just about the only thing that's differentiates it from the Yukon and tahoes, and the fact That it's as square as a box truck with no lines or styling whatsoever and bam!! You just wasted 90k on a 40k suv because there's a big shield in between the headlights when u could've bought a Tahoe, the same exact thing for like 40 thousand dollars less which by the way, barely looks any better. I do like the yukons looks the best but y does gm feel like they need to make 3 of the same thing? Jeez. At least put some effort into them. Nissan quests with leather and a lift kit jesus

These damned things are huge. One day I was driving home and a previous gen Escalade was behind me (it's not that common thing here in Europe) and it filled up the whole lane, and all I saw in my rearview was its gigantic front grille. I kinda like it though.
