- Mounting the body to the chassis turned into quite an ordeal... it didn't go as planned so now we need to adapt and overcome 😐

The word "clusterfuck" applies precisely to this situation.
Maybe "Bad Chad" should watch some you tubers on how to build a hotrod
Or listen to some of his fans
That was amateur hour !!
So that is the way you treat a friend (Doug) .Not good !!
Chad has been known to treat his own kid that way. He is not good under pressure.
so terrible chads disrespect to doug and has no knowledge how to work with others hard to watch
Chad, I’m at minute 21. I’m saying to myself just stop and step back and think, to many rushed decisions
chads way too hyper
I have watched you build with great respect, but in your quest to build cheap, this project is the biggest luster Fu*((*k I have ever seen you do. Started the channel job with out lowering the motor , I believe you moved to fast without considering the project as a whole. Sorry you don't have a little bit of an issue with a lot o this design.
There are skilled builder's who have been doing this since before he was born. They give advice and he never gets the message. Every build is like a trip into the unknown and he's got to experiment and tinker to come to what he could have learned from others at the start.
Rush, rush, rush and overlook the obvious!
Your frame at the firewall area is determining your stance and engine position. Slow down, have a brew and drop the stress level. Lol
Your right , this is a time when the team needs to take a break and walk away for a day and calmly reassess the issue and make a new plan. Team Hiltz are very talented and will figure out and resolve the problem .
And of course it does not fit, because Chad does not measure anything, he does it by eye. Chad made the floor too wide in the back, and it will not fit down over it now. He did not measure it right.
Chad have Jolene read you the comments so you can learn a few things .....
@@georgegunner662 Have her read them to you, I could care less what you think.
@@georgegunner662 Chad screwed up big time, it was like watching the three stooges, so where am I wrong, genius.
Did you ever watch Boyd Coddington's (RIP) shit-show? Think an overly-priced hot-rodder is any better? I watched them pour anti-freeze in an engine that had a freeze-plug missing. Boyd built a car that almost killed one of his employees while on it's maiden run, poor kid's face was paralyzed for life. It's all touch-and-go.........
@@ralphpettorossi705 My God man you are clueless, open your eyes to reality.
Love way Nate speaks to Doug. Lots of respect and always trying to help him.
Chad wouldn’t speak to Nate the way he does to Doug because he knows Nate wouldn’t have it and if he leaves even less would get finished on these builds.
True
Well I understand Doug and Nathan are old school friends
Chad has a vision, Nate makes visions’ real and Doug is the guy every workshop relies on to do things without being told, he just does it. I wish I had a Doug 😂
A brilliant communicator with knowledge....
You're just measuring this now??? Really???
curly moe and larry joe lol!
Comedy gold
Slow down Chad. You’re making mistakes and barking at your coworkers. Not a good look.👀
yeah, not a good look,
your coworkers are trying to help , this is one of the reasons you get negative feedback ,check your ego Chad .
Very good your 100%right 😮😮😮
Nate you are the best and Doug hang in there
This was tough to watch :D Slow down fellas. Its not a race.
This Episode Was One To Forget... Chad Is A Crazy Talkathon Host Who Is Just About To Lose It Over Problems He Creates ... Wow!! "Bad Chad" Is Most Always A Chaotic Mess
Measure twice and cut once would have helped in this case.
Measuring always helps
@@harleyryder2796 I agree !!!
If you guys were paying attention he did take some measurements. I think he just missed measured. And don't act like you people never miss measures things. Let's be real.
I'm pretty sure he doesn't know how to use a tape measure, I have NEVER seen him use one EVER... Maybe it's a Canadian thing to use poster board for measurements instead of a tape measure 😂
Look at the angle of that motor looks. Like crap. I knew it. drop that Trans and straighten out that drive line.mister my way or the highway
The front end is 6” higher
it's actually quite simple measurements that are needed to see if the body fits before trying to assemble...! Just a little suggestion Chad.
What a cluster f..k & shitshow this turned out to be !!! That’s what you get when you rush, build a floor without the body on, not using a tape measure and eye it up !!!
The 3 Stooges
"Putting the body on....Take 54
Not sure why yall are running around like there’s a two week deadline. This isn’t Orange County choppers. You’ve been calm every episode but this one.
Klingon central
No plan. Just hit and miss engineering! Time and money?
please don't lose a finger this is getn hard to watch boys!
In fact the entire engine is too high.
The previous owner cut the frame at the front and double stacked it on top, the upshot is the engine is now sitting high, the lesson is, buy someone else's abandoned project and pay the price later.
So are the frame rails…looks really weird.
Why not build the floor on the car then drop it onto the frame… kinda sounds like you are working backwards
Is anyone very surprised ?
nope
That one is going into the shed.Never to be seen again.Oh well.
My thoughts, exactly! Delete, delete, delete.
The tape measure should have been your go to tool from the beginning, you wouldn’t be struggling right now !
If you have ever done this sort of thing you will find that even with taking your time with the measurements the thing still won't fit, movement of metal etc 😭
@@topcats7750wrong, I’ve done metal fabrication all my life and numbers never lie
😂 😅 with chady basically it's 48 and 3 short marks 😂 close enough to coat hanger weld 😂 good penatranion 😂 😂 😂
Poor Doug is pretty laid back. No reaction to getting his head bit off. Chad don't talk to Nate the way he does Doug.
That's because,he knows he needs Nate, and Chad feel's that Doug is expendable!
Shades of the old TV show days when Chad lost the plot every episode. He's not a nice person after all!!
He moaned about chopping too much of the fire wall then goes and hacks even more off.
Are yes but he will probably weld it on again! 😜. If you know what I'm trying to tell ya!
@@roypowell3450 Maybe he will just replace the firewall with perforated metal like his other race car!!!!
@@williambuhrer3524 👍👍
I can see this project being pushed out back shortly
Like most.......!
That was an awesome episode, you could feel the passion. I was on edge and wanted to help the guys out.
If there is a will there’s a way, outstanding.
Perhaps Chad will develop renewed respect for the lowly tape measure.
U guys got a forklift used it
That's what happens when you don't measure measure and more measuring.😊
CHAD, , CUT, CUT, CUT,CUT,CUT😂
Nate is ready for things to go stray, and is so quick for a solution, it does not faze him...and yeah every shop needs Doug, great job everyone and thank you.
Have you ever thought about using a tape measure
And like nearly everyone was saying, you can't channel it 4" because the back wheels won't fit the wheel wells. Was so obvious but you would never admit it, just said lack of room inside, which was also true, but not the real reason.
Monkey’s fn a football on this one
How much time we got? I want to disappear.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Even with all the stressing out, the car still looks elegant, you guys. You'll get it..
Sawzall magician, seems hurried, slow down bro
Looks like we have a square peg in a round hole
Why would you put the body on without the floor bolted down?
Perhaps instead of buying old signs go to the store buy rechargeable tools and a bunch of bolts nuts washers etc. Sell one of your bikes and invest in needed items.
🎯
I recall in a recent video Chad said he seldom looks at comments! Lots of good comments down the crapper!
Wow.. unbelievable…
Why do you seem to take pride in rushing every thing slow down. Work smarter not harder
I could see a few days ago that their was no way that body was going drop on the chassis/floor, this is truly two steps forward and three steps back!
Jolene needs to manage the builds better to make sure embarrassing mistakes are avoided, Chad is his own free spirit, which is fine, but really needs to take a leaf out of other builders books to think things through… its great content, but at what cost?
wait for the paint color..........
Once again we see where the name "Bad" Chad comes from
I'm sure I'm wrong, but when you guys had the body in the air at the rear of the chassis yesterday, it appeared as though the body was narrower than the chassis. Hopefully, that's not the issue. Guess we will find out today.
Well Jolene what do you think of the show so far! 🤔
Know problem keep rocking and rolling, have a great day Hiltz team
Nate should learn all the fabricating techniques from Chad as he can and then take Doug and start his own channel… I’ll be his first subscriber.
Nate is already better than Chad, then again That dont take much... yes, Nate n Dough should start their own shop....
Why can’t you use the hoist or the forklift to put the body on instead of breaking your back or something else
Too big hurry all the time , you got to put more into planning than the doing.
OMG what a disaster
Everyone relax. They're just tired from holding up that body for 24 hrs. It'll all be fine in the end.
❤❤Chad drawing and writing your dimensions on paper first with near enough sizes would have saved this big run around fix up fitting 😮😮😮😊😊
Chads got a bit of a temper I c 😅😅
Yep. ask his son
@DavidSmith-zv7oq poor doug got a bit of a eating 🤣🤣
L0L
..wanna hold my flashlight sometime?
Well, that ain't the way I woulda done it.
No doubt in my mind
Well you are not the Great One. You should be posting this message every day to be perfectly honest with you.
the rear of the engine has to be lower .
YES....YES....YES....been say that since DAY ONE!
3 guys guessing is a lot worse than 1 guy getting it right!
Well who else saw this coming ?
Nathan well done It was feeling like Chad was ready to shut down the Camera's. 👍🙂
Tape measure? "We don nee no stinking tape measure"
Ha ha ha😂
scrap it and get back on the tbid
Take what you need, throw away the rest. Chad does it his way you do it your way. He is hoping to inspire people to do their own projects, to make their own dreams a reality.
Nothing I need here!
SLOW DOWN ........QUIT RUNNING AROUND
Chad is a bully when things aren’t going his way. I don’t understand why he always has to rush and instead of lifting and cussing it why didn’t they use the lift to lower the body onto the frame. Kinda dumb.
This is why nobody wants to work with chad
more cutting ???
Had to chuckle at you earlier when in aggravation you drop a couple of explicit. My Dad had a 51 Chevy when I was a kid. For the most part it would never start on cue. Dad would always drop of couple of off words and the car probably, in fear would always start. I grew up believing that cars were inanimate objects had souls and responded on command. Too funny. Best Wishes with the body.
Isn’t the body intended to hide the frame?
Couldn't take this on a regular basis.
Chads way ,or the HIGHWAY 😂
Not a good way to get this done. Good way to get somone hurt. calm down and walk away from it.
Have you ever watched the KEYSTONE COPS ?
Chopped, channeled and slightly bent 😊
minus the channel now....
@@stephenk79-rc1il yeah, that one...turns out it was a tad too much
Like the frame
Lots of great car builders in Australia he just needs to visit the right ones and learn!
Even tho i don't agree how Chad does things on the builds,sometimes...I do like the unedited realism the show brings to the build...And i credit Jolene for that...Chad,you have an excellent crew with Doug and Nathan!
Waaaaaaaa😅😂😂 absolutely no idea... How was all the talking while he was building the floor like he knew what be was doing.. Just keep cutting on it buddy you'll make it fit for sure.... But I wont take anything away from this build . sorry. Just what NOT to do.... WAAAAA 😅 🤣 😆 comedy at its best...no doubt in my mind...if you know what im saying
He don't read the comments...know it all
@@georgegunner662 He should...he builds cars that are dangerous and not close to being road worthy...he should read the comments..so he can realise what he is showing young and upcoming builders and what they are taking away due to them not knowing a correct way... Little bit like you
dont forget you need suspension on the rear, that will alter the height/look
Slow down, stop n think, then make decisions. Why such a hurry?
If you just lift...no, no turn, and wait, push that... no, no, raise... oh, maybe we should try... no, no, don't do that! I don't think it needs to be channeled.
Larry, Curly and Moe come to mind… This is just embarrassing and I feel bad for Jolene.
Like you fellas never struggled on a project or mis measured or not measured at all. Let's get real. Stop all the negative bullshit. If you're not happy then go watch what does.
..they are doing fine. The reason Chad seems to be micromanaging, is because he is the builder. and he needs everyone to be on the same page.. his page. Chad might not see what we do all the time, because we have a birds eye view through Jolene’s lens. Some of the critics here are just mean! This is a guy in a small garage with a skeleton crew doing his thing..and entertaining you for an hour…
hell ya
Fits like a sardine can on a rock.
Ha ha ha ha 😂
3 stooges 😂😂😂
guys a measuring tape not so much rush! You guys would have been laughing
Sorry, but, you should have put the body on the chassis and then built the floor.
He's afraid of her
Never stopped him from doing things wrong before. Never get in his way of creating chaos over a simple fix. No forethought.
Why would chad do that ,it makes sense,is the proper way to do it.he is clueless,no common sense,no engineering training or education, thats how movie cars are made,to look at not drive
@@bobhalstead1879 why do you watch then? Just asking makes no sense
@@johnfleming6205 they'll be back tomorrow.
Turned on my notification for today’s episode just to see it live as it happens
Train wreck 😂
Not to be a stickler, but the episodes are not "live". They come on at a certain time for your time zone, but they are pre-recorded. Presumably on the same day...or not.
@@Estabanjuan yes they do record episodes sometimes they can get 3 or 4 episodes in a day then just post a new one each day
Next time build the floor around the car . Really stupide move Chad
I’ve known since the beginning this would happen… Chipboard must not work fro tempting the footprint of a car body.
Looks like the motor is going to sit too high.
Motor and tranny has always been too high and not at the right angle
I assume that's what the term high boy ??
All the tools on the floor and broom is an accident waiting to happen
Amatuer hour. Calm down, smoke one and drink a few beers. This is some backyard high school shit! 😂
Measure
thats how we learn folks by making mistakes ... you guys gotta realize this channel is different then most jolene videos live time and most other channels edit out the big mistakes so we don't see it
