I faced a critical issue in GV. I went for a drive from Bhubaneswar to Tirupati which is around 1300 KMs and in Tirupati my fuel pump stopped functioning. As usual Tirupati Nexa do not have spare part and they kept my car for 6 days in the workshop.
I requested Maruti to provide me the details that why in new car fuel pump malfunctions but they didn’t responded till now.
The issue I faced in just 3000 kms ruuning

How to lock the steering? In my previous car which was Swift, I used to just rotate my steering a little bit and it used to lock the steering, but I cant do that in GV sigma. Please advise.

It only works if you are using android auto then use gmaps then it will show direction on mid

Red light blink at left lower corner of speed wheel...after we locked gv.. what is that for
Engine immobiliser, that is for security purpose. Dont worry.. if someone tries to hamper with the car it ll alert you accordingly by making noises. Red light blinking implies Immobiliser is in action.

Which indicators? The battery simbal which appears in white when you release accelerator indicates battery regeneration. Apart from that i dont recall any other indicator

It is decent i would say, not the best! Could be much better but if you use high beam all the time then its better in terms of intensity and throw. Low beam should be improved somehow

Its basically how much kms have you travelled after reset. So for me personally
Trip A is resetted according to me whenever i feel like ki aaj ke din me mai kitne kms chal lunga to usko record kerne ke liye TripA ko reset kerdeta hu
Trip B is resetted only once when i Refuel the Car and this is done to make sure how many kms have we driven after refueling so as to Calculate actual tank to tank mileage.
Basically Trip A ko aap apne man chahe istemal kerskte ho ki kabhi bhi zero kerdiya jab apko kahi destination tak ka distance naap na ho.
trip B ko mai sirf refuel pe reset kerta hu
Ab aisa koi rule nahi hai ki aap tripA ko man mutabik reset ker and TripB ko only tab jab refuel ker rhe ho, ap inko interchange bhi ker skte ho vo apke upar hai👍🏻
Drl and Mid kaise Blink karti hai ? and AC auto par karte hi Full speed par chala jaata hai 22 ka Temp. Par bhi kya koi problem hai ya ? Auto Ac mai ?

If inside temperature is higher than what you set on AC then blower speed will increase for sometime till it cools down the cabin . Auto AC me koi problem nahi hai sir.. don't worry

When I had gone to take the test drive of grand Vitara, it was showing turn by turn direction in the instrument cluster while connected to GPS. But after I have purchased the same model that is grand Vitara Alpha, when I connect my GPS, it doesn’t show turn by turn navigation, so do you have any idea how to turn it on or what should I do in this case ?
Yes sir.. if you use android auto then use gmaps for directions it ll automatically show turn left or turn right
If you use apple car play then use apple maps for the directions in instrument cluster

Regarding suzuki connect, i would say that i am still learning the features of the app and gathering different kinds of information on it. Hence its taking time🙂

You can unlock doors at any gear but the car needs to bee stationary i suppose.
In D if you stop a car at a red signal then also you can unlock doors , doesnt matter which gear it is in

While using cruise control , you can see just speed on the cluster

Its the drls both front and back which illuminate when your car is parked in either a shaded parking like basement or during night time when it is parked.
When u unlock car drls stay on for 10 sec and in that 10 sec u can just follow the illumination to find ur car, hence its call guide me lights

You have BS6 phase 2 GV? If yes then i think you need to apply seatbelts to rear seats as well even if noone is sitting. Idk why the company has given this irritating compulsion feature

Car me agar 5L se kam fuel hoga to bhi vo range nhi display kerta. Inshort agar warning light jal jaae to bhi range display nahi kerta . It only shows three dashes "---"

Are you an enthusiast or a light foot driver?
Coz tbh honest when i purchased the car, the MID showed the moleage of 8kmpl and i was shocked to see that, the showroom driver bhaiya drove very hard foot to bring the car from yard to dealership (50km)
After the delivery i too was unaware of how to reset the mileage cos it was really difficult to increase the mileage , the max i got was 16kmpl
Then i saw what i was doing wrong, i was only resetting the trips and not the mileage thinking that mileage will automatically reset if i reset the trips(since i owned an honda city 3rd gen, which resetted the mileage by resting trips only)
So then i saw how to reset mileage video on YT and then it gave me good mileage of 23 on highways and 17kmpl in cities

Sir dynamic fluctuations to hongi hi na kyunki car ko ab previous koi bhi data feeded yaad nhi hota once u reset fuel economoy. So after resetting it, it fluctuates as per ur driving style if you push it hard then it ll even show 6-8kmpl and at the same time after resetting it if u drive with a very light foot it will show u 18-20kmpl
Once the system records data of all the mini seconds of ur ride after resetting it then fluctuates very slowly, jaise agar aap reset kerke suppose first 10kms me dekhenge mileage to vo us duration me sabse zyada fluctuate kerega as per how u drove it. Lekin usko agar aap just next consecutive 10km ke baad dekhe to (total 20km) vo us duration me slowly slowly fluctuate hoga
So mileage screen pe vhi dikhaega jitne zyada km aap chalte hai after resetting utna hi late fluctuate hoga vo aur utna stable mileage milega
Ab agar apko 17 ka mileage chahiye suppose to try resetting when u are on your way to enter any highway or expressway so that the screen shows max mileage at that time bcoz of light foot driving or even use the cruise control (MID me 22-25kmpl dikhaega vo apko) and when u are about to exit the expressway and about to enter city then it will gradually decrease downtill any number acc to ur driving style (lets say instantaneous mileage 18kmpl) so the screen will show (18+24)/2 kmpl = 21kmpl
Thats how MId displays mileage . It calculated the mean of two instantaneous mileages and shows u the average
