I just bought the 300 and after watching your channel (did not get the 1000 because of your comments), I rather pay for original cartridges than worry constantly I made a mistake. The printing is not the most important part of my photography hobby and I have to worry enough about exposure, shutter speed, ISO, composition and in focus.

Hello I love your videos … I just recently purchased canon pro 200 … can you refill the original ink cartridges and will they still show the ink levels after you refill tanks … I’ve had 2 of the pro 100 decided to upgrade know I’m beginning to wonder if I made the right decision. Thanks for any input you have!
Over the long term, which would you recommend with regards to ink usage and drain sponge/replacement, the epson xp15000 or the pro-200?
Which is best, in your opinion: Epson xp15000 or canon pro 200?
The PRO 200 technically should produce a more accurate print. But the 1500 with a good profile for a high quality glossy paper such as A-Sub Gloss can and will produce a fantastic result as well. One uses 8 color and the other 6. The advantage of the 15k here in the USA is there is a Chip less firmware available which then allows refilling your OEM carts. Though you can technically go 3rd party with the PRO 200, it requires a lot of prepping and learning the refilling process using PRO100 carts with the PRO200 chips installed and the you have to disable those chips. Ink level monitoring is then done visually. Not the best way to go.
If you are printing with only OEM and do not contemplate refilling then yeah the PRO200 Wins. With the 15k a close 2nd.
