Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it! The Ramcharger is getting different wheels and tires soon and then I need to get it back on the channel.

Awesome rig! 🤘🏻
Thank you!
Sweet video. Any video showing the rear suspension set up?
At 17 min, you talk about the weird steering,... i have an 85 ramcharger as well, and it did the exact same thing. Then one day, the steering let go as i was coming out of a back alley and my ramcharger ATE my neighbor's parked XJ for breakfast. My Ramcharger had a hand sized dent in the fender and the XJ's rear axle ended up halfway down the block.
Wow! I bet that woke everyone up. The steering has continued to require attention unfortunately. The Ramcharger ended up getting a remanned red head steering box and a new pump but the problems persist. Need to do an update video honestly. Thanks for watching Jack.
Yessss as promised !!!
I’m a man of my word. 🫡
@@winchoutdoors appreciate it !!! You guys are awesome !
Would love to see how you put on your winch.
Love the looks of that 1st gen ramcharger!
Granny gear and locker makes her crawl just as good as she looks.
Is it a 1st gen or a gen 1.5?!?
@@weldonesc6217 yes
84 RC here..I have a couple questions. I’m working on putting a skyjacker 4” kit on. I ordered with the 6” spring to delete the block in the back. My application is mainly for styling and light off road to get to my hunting spots. Mainly a daily driver. Should I take the shims out? What’s the benefit? If I don’t take them out is there a certain direction they should face in the rear? (the shims that is) . Also.. do I “need” the adjustable drag link? I did not get that with the kit😬
You’re gonna want the adjustable draglink to get the gear box close to centered. Can’t remember on the shims would have to look at the pinion angle and see what is needed. That’ll be a great rig for getting to your hunting property or around town when finished! ✅
I’m doing an Aussie locker in my 79 Ramcharger. I have a newer 9.25 LSD in the rear. It’s been converted to 80-84 part time with Warn hubs, Magnum 360 , NV4500, Dana 300 and 4.56/35s.
Tapping a good smaller flat screw driver to pop the snap ring up out of the grove and then a second to start removing it has always worked for me.
I have 6” Skyjackers in the front of mine, old Rancho 3.5” plus 2” helpers. Used to tow my Duster to the track a lot with it. Getting the Skyjackers for the rear soon.
Travelers Rest? Where are you guys? I’m in Mauldin.
I didn’t notice, dropped pitman or adjustable drag link? Eventually I want to do cross over.
Sometimes the snap ring comes right out… but then there’s those other times. 😂 Ended up modifying a factory draglink. Cut it in half. Put box in middle of rotation then sleeved it. Also in the upstate. 👍
Excellent video
What happened to the blazer ?
Currently working on a blazer update video! 🤘
Are we gonna upgrade the K5 and a chisel and hammer works just fine on the wheel bearing Nut
Guilty of using a hammer and flat head screwdriver. 🙋♂️
Is the front locked all the time or just when you engage 4wd? Isn’t it hard to drive if locked all the time?
Only when 4wd is engaged and it can still move freely when needed. Not locked solid like a spool or a welded diff. Yukon makes a pretty nice product with the spartan locker and it’s a lot more economical than a selectable locker.
@WinchOutdoors hit the nail on the head. The spartan is unnoticeable while driving at road speeds. Due to the transfer case being in 2wd and the hubs unlocked.
Hows that front winch bracket made would like to copy
Check info with your cat expert advise 😉 😄 😀
yukon makes 1 pc. axle to get rid of that axle disconnect
But we are poors.
ehhhh, a selectable locker! ... like an Ox Locker. **shrugs**
do not take that shim out , thats the angle for your drive shaft
