IT TOOK ME TILL NOW to realize the slowdown at 1:44 is a cleverly obfuscated metric modulation... in English terms, at the tempo before that slowdown (110bpm), the timespan of exactly *five* 16th notes becomes a full beat [four 16ths] in the new tempo (88bpm). Or in other other words, 110bpm is 5/4th of 88bpm. So the 5 aspect carries over into the music too!

I'm surprised someone deciphered it already. If you still want to try to figure it out for yourself, it's in bifid cipher. The decoded lyrics are in the fandom wiki

I suspect that if this is a substitution cipher, the verses have separate keys. But again, this is conjecture.

I give up on my end. I believe that this could be multiple cyphers. I think possibly vigenere but I could be wrong as I have tried every possible key I could think of, and have looked through the video a few times now for hints. It's likely it's a cypher I'm unfamiliar with as well.
