Awesome salt action, those swells just will not stop, you whacked just about every species, I never ate any of those fish but would love too. From the launch to landing, not for the meek, the next time I am on flat, calm, silent, snowflake water, I will appreciate it more.
I do not know of any fishfinder that is waterproof, however most are water resistant, I actually hose mine off after every trip in the salt and never had a problem in probably 3 years of using the thing.
Yo man awesome job! Where you located on the central coast? 1 week away from kayak season coming up ima be upgrading to a 12 fter soon we should link up!
Awesome couple days on the water buddy! So were you test peddling the new Hobie Outback or did you pull the trigger and buy one? I've been looking at this kayak for last couple months and it looks totally awesome. Looks like the Pro Angller and the Compass had a baby. Nice balance between the 2. But I need another kayak like I need a hole in the head haha.
That's awesome! Yeah I've seen a bunch of reviews and comparisons between the 2019 and older models. It's almost a totally new boat. Has a great layout and they say its fast. Congrats on the new yak! Looking forward to seeing you slam some more fish out of it. If I didn't own 3 yaks already I think I would have picked this one up for sure.
@@CckfNet Mind sharing what the deciding factor was for getting the Outback vs. a pro angler was? Cost, functionality, size? Obviously the Outback works well enough but would there be any advantage with a PA on the ocean?
Bring on 19
Could not agree more, need to hook up and do a collaborate on a videos or two.
Can't wait for RCG season to open. The landing was very sporty. You timed it perfectly.
Thanks man, looks like you have been killing it up north.
Nice video...love watching the Central Coast action!

That's awesome,I always wanted to try that ,but I think I would be tripping about all the shark's you hear about now. Cool video be safe.

Solid vid! I've always had luck with that technique too, they either pick it up on the fall or as soon as I start to lift it
Great info. Maybe do a video re conditions and when to launch or not launch?
Thanks for the idea man.

I'd love to take my aluminum boat out there some day. Is there a boat launch in that area?. Great video
Moonstone in cambria can launch a small aluminum off the beach but no ramp per say within 40miles
Intense right there... great job man.., nice looking fish there. Subbed you and banged the 🛎
Looked like an awesome fight!
Excellent video! Is the Hook 5 waterproof?

Come on March 31st! Those were decent swells, how do you fare with sea sickness? Also, shimano butterflys never fail with lings and cabs. :)
indeed they do, the squidfish has a very similar action.
Great video! Where can i get a CCKF decal for my yak? Can i pay for one or do i need to be enrolled in a CCKF tournament?
shoot me an email
