LIHSA - A High School for the Arts

Over the past four decades, the Long Island High School for the Arts has been a home and training ground for talented young artists who are actively and passionately exploring the exciting worlds of dance, drama, filmmaking, music, theater and visual arts. The dedicated faculty is made up of working professionals who are constantly introducing fresh, exciting, real-life experiences into their classrooms and studio sessions. From there, students have gone on to study at such institutions as The Juilliard School, Yale University, Syracuse University, Parsons School of Design, Cooper Union, and New York University/Tisch School of the Arts.
