Male's or female's both have to admit that Leif was remarkably good looking back in the '70's. I remember reading one of my brothers Cream magazines then with a feature of him and I kept looking back at his picture. I was like "Wow! he's prettier than the girls in my school!!" LOL It was interesting to see his reactions talking about the Hollywood chicken-hawks. He totally gave away that it was rampant back then by the squirming and one word answers. I would say that only due to his huge income draw did he make it big. So many were cast aside for not giving in.

I listened to Entire interview on player fm. First of all they don’t even know how to pronounce Leif’s name. They were condescending to him. Then after he leaves they talk about him negatively. As far as I’m concerned if the interview wasn’t good it was because of them. They talked over him about his mother like he wasn’t there. They’re rude.

I met Leif at The Silverton in 2007 when he did a show there that summer. I don't know who the other bands were , he and the other bands are older than me but I did remember who Leif was. an older friend from work asked me to go with her to this concert , so I went. He is so nice , not "on" fake, just very laid back , chill, nice person. He helped walk me off the stage , he had people come up and dance on stage . I was getting crushed by these women that were 300 lbs and hell bent on tackling poor Leif, lol. These were women in their 40's & 50's acting like crazy groupies. One lady kept trying to push past me so she elbowed me in the chest twice. I said do it again, I'll break your hand. I was getting shoved up against the stage by these crazies. I was getting a little worried , there was no room to move and these huge women were pushing me up against the stage, trying to get to Leif. (my friend disappeared to gambling inside!) When some of us got up on the stage to dance, security came over to tell him it was time to go. He said ok and kept dancing, lol. They came over again and he said ok, ok, then he grabbed my hand and walked with me off the stage, maybe he saw how I was being shoved around, idk, but he was a gentleman to help me like that. (I am 5'3" and 100 lbs., I was getting crushed by that audience) I have been to concerts before but never experienced the mad rush of ginormous ex groupies crawling over each other to get to Leif . Holy crap!! He asked me what my name was and we said nice to meet you, etc and that was it. He did not hang around like some other band members did. I got the feeling he did not want to be there but he had a CD coming out , he was very good. I was a baby when he was in his heyday so I don't remember much but I do remember some of his music as I had older cousins who listened to it. I know it has come to light that it wasn't him really singing back then but , I can say, when I saw him in 07, it was him singing and he was awesome. I will always be grateful he escorted me off the stage like that, those women would have killed me, lol. I did see the behind the music story on him that is heartbreaking and some interviews with his mother. She seems like a very nice lady , how sickening they lied to her like that . From what I saw that night he performed here in Vegas at The Silverton, I see no reason why he was blacklisted? He is still an excellent performer and the audience went bat shit crazy for him. I believe he got the short end of the stick. That accident wasn't 100% on him, they were kids and we all did dumb things as kids, dangerous things. No one stopped him, either one of them. When you are on top, everyone yes's you to death and wants to be your bff. He should not take all the blame for that terrible night but you can tell he carries it with him, I could tell. but again, a gentleman, good singer, performer, nice normal person. I wish nothing but good things for him and his mom.
