This song is so precious and can be easily mistaken by audience, so here is my simple translation, the male voice (the soul) talking to the body (female voice). [Male voice, soul] says, "Oh my Zindeea/Body, leave the World aside and get to the Bhagtee/prayers! The world is deceptive place, how could body & soul be saved. Lust, greed, ego, anger will destroy us, oh my honey body, get to prayers. You leave the world/Jagta and accept Bhagta/prayers. Then [Female/body voice] answers, "I have been living with the World/Jagta so long, what is so great about Bhagtee. Oh Jogi/soul, please tell me what is so dazzling about Bhagtee?". [Male/soul] answers,"Oh my honey body/Zindeea, do not waste your precious youth. With Bhagtee you will meet The God at once. Go prove yourself!". [Female/body] further questions, "Bhagta will just apply ashes to my body, what is so great about this trick to be with God?. Tell me oh my Yogi, oh my soul." [Male voice/soul] answers, "Ladies like you, Meera & Loyee [Kabir's wife], did great prayers and became Lady-Saints, oh my honey body/Zindeea, you too do Bhagtee/prayers." Once more [Female voice/body] asks for clarification, "The people say Bhagtee people are insane, going place to place for prayers!". [Male/soul voice] assures, "The Bhagtee has saved millions of the hell-going people to heaven. Oh my dear body/Zindeea, you should also go for Bhagtee, oh my sweet honey-body!" [Female/body voice] accepts, "I wish, my honey, my soul, you had taught me this wisdom when I was a little child, I would not have neglected and I would have dedicated my entire life to Bhagtee/prayers, oh my sweet honey/on my soul!" [Male (soul) and Female (body) combined voice] agree and conclude, "Now our body/Zindeea has adopted Bhagta, body and soul are united, says Yamla. Both are in love with each other and both are in Bliss, One with Waheguru!. Both are liberated from birth and death cycle!" ~Completion of competition! ~Seva by Pal Inder Singh Chahal.
