Suburban Yukons etc from 90s early 2000s are so pricey 1999 Yukon with 190k miles for like $18k Can’t even turn them into farm trucks So I got a 05 cayenne S 124k miles for $5k and put a hitch on it Coils plugs all fluids and dif is on deck for some love but in the mean time we pulling trailers You got a CLEAN suburban for a great price. Tony Soprano is proud of you.
I’ve been trying hard to sell mine for 3500 out here in tennessee they’re pretty much all rust free papaw owned nobody wants a burban right now with gas prices like this 😢
Yeah right lmao. I bought a 97 K1500, absolutely positively SPOTLESS, loaded SLT, pop the hood it looks like it just came off the lot, factory everything, for 2500 bucks. My brothers got a 97 LT Suburban K1500 with all sorts of weird options, had a brand new long block from GM with all the paperwork, spotless from Montana for 1600. Just scrolling on marketplace, even the 3/4 ton 4x4s are a dime a dozen. They NEVER sell for more than 3000 within a 3 state search. Nobody wants them, which is a good thing for me because I buy them up like crazy.
Got a 97 suburban as a senior in high school. When I got in, the last row had been taken out and a bed thrown in there by the last owner. Good times..good times 😂😂
My neighbor has a 6.2 detroit diesel suburban 2500 4x4 with a stick. Hed modded the shit out of this truck the motor has the turbo off a 6.5 and it not fast no 6.2 is fast but that fucker sounds like every humvee ive ever seen. It has barn doors on the back a big ol ranch hand bumper front and rear with an addition 30 gall fuel tank where the spare used to be. Its honestly the most badass cruiser/ overlander family car ive ever seen. Im jealous of its sheer power sitting still.
My first suburban was a 94 and still my favorite it was a beast very comfortable and very capable. We used that truck hard many members of the family had wood stoves so we would take the seats out and go-to the woods cut wood all day put a lage tarp in it load it to the top and bring it home uload pull the tarp and blow the dust out put it back together clean up and put 9 or 10 people in it and go to dinner
Pretty sure that truck was the default Burban used in every custom parts ad in the back pages of every 90's "Truckin'" magazine that i looked at and drooled over as a boy....
Bought a 98 LT suburban with 3rd row seat and barn doors complete with motorolar bag phone mounted in the arm rest when i first joined the Corps😂 you couldnt tell me shit! Sold it when i came back from Iraq to a Marine from my home state of SC... if your reading this and still have it... I WANT IT BACK!😂
I never got enjoying cars like this until I met a guy who had 9 Chevy sprints 6 were 1988s bc there was something about the interior he liked more but some mfs are beyond dedicated
@MidTennPews it's cool, good for him, not the kind of person I want to spend my time with, if I bought a 90s suburban like that first thing my gf would ask is why did you it already built and not build your own? And try to help me, not worry about what she looks like sitting in it
My papaw had one from 11 miles to 325k. I drove it another 70k. 1999 GMC suburban. Thing was an absolute beast. But boy howdy did that 44 gallon tank hurt
When I was his age our 20 year old cars were 60s GTOs and early mustangs. I feel bad for him that his nostalgia was sush a horrible collection of GMC scrap metal. But I Do give him credit for finding one where many of the parts still work.
The OBS suburban is absolutely mental what a piece of junk I had me one of them silverraddles back in the day I loved that truck to death wouldn’t dare pass on one of these puppies not with the sport stripes on it either gollleeeeee
Women suck I had a 93 Ford Lightning that I had about 15 grand into on top of the purchase price it ran low 12s and I loved it and my wife said we needed something more family oriented so I sold the lightning and bought a 95 Suburban which she said was too big and she wouldn't drive so for 3 years I drove the Suburban by myself two I sold it and bought a minivan point is I should have kept my lightning and told my wife where she could stick it
“Met right in the middle at 12 grand” 😂😂

I remember in the mid 2000s when these were trading below 1k and a ham sandwich.

95 Bronco for me.. Bench seat in the back would fold down and we'd have more than enough room lmao

That's absolutely RAD!! Miss my 98 Burban, never should've sold it 😢
You really can't blame the guy... thats quite nice
Pretty sure that truck was the default Burban used in every custom parts ad in the back pages of every 90's "Truckin'" magazine that i looked at and drooled over as a boy....
That generation of burbs look awesome, nice clean lines. Tanks!
It needs an LSA/LS9/LT4 swap with a built 4L80E and a Circle D convertor. An easy 700 whp with all the blower noises just to piss people off further.
A gaping hole? Yet he already had a Suburban! That's one big hole.
I love Chevy s10 anything from 1987 to 1991 was so cool

So she is so snooty she wont even be seen in a certain kind of vehicle for whatever reason? Sounds like a great person
That's the difference between someone that sees cars for what they are and someone that sees them as a status symbol.
