    Facebook being an engagement platform, CTR and making an engaging ad creative is so key! Until I hit six figures I wasn't even close to doing the right thing. Once it "clicks" for you.. you'll be good to go!

    Super helpful video Chris! What's your thoughts on running PPE video ads then using the same video to run conversion ads? I read an Oberlo article saying that once youve run a PPE ad it gets optimised for engagement so once you switch to conversions facebook gets confused and you get bad results. I always thought it didn't matter since you're using lookalikes based off of the engagements. What's your opinion? Thanks!

      That's exactly what you should be doing, you want to be using the same video you used for PPE on a conversion campaign! Only the campaign optimises for the objective, not the ad.

    Hi Chris, thanks much for all the valuable info. Wanted to find out if you ship world wide? If so how are your shipping rates? I was thinking of shipping to countries worldwide that provide e packet, would it be ok to do free shipping since its epacket?

I am getting a 1.8% on my first 12second advert do you find static ads get the same CTR as Video? or is that a case of how long is a piece of string ? Also if you ever need to use a 1 product niche start up store as an example in any of your videos please let me know 👍 from another Manc always happy to hep out haha....

      It varies, you just need to test different creatives to find out what works best. Thanks man, I'll keep that in mind!

    Thank you Chris for the video. I have a question I believe every new dropshipper will have. Should I kill an ad set that has reached breakeven even though it has made a sale? Even if my CTR is good (2% to 3 %). I'm kinda at a lost as to what to do next. Should I kill it or should I duplicate it and increase the budget as maybe the ad is not reaching enough people. I'm running a $10 daily ad set (purchase campaign) for 3 days, and its only gotten 500 impressions and had 14 link clicks, and 1 sale. Are there any other metrics I should look out for in helping me make the decision?

      No, never kill an adset if it is breaking even or if it is profitable. If you reach your breakeven point and haven't made a sale check other metrics like cost per add to cart, CTR and CPM to see if it is worth leaving the adset a little bit longer or not

    Thanks Chris that's just what I needed. I'm currently getting ATCs and even IC but no sales. It's driving me mad as well as costing money.
    For example, on a recent product I was getting 3.62% CTR (Links), 5.9% ATC, 3.4% IC, 0% Pur :-(
    I've tried lowering the price
    So I wonder if improving my retargeting is what is needed

      It could be retargeting, is the product a high value high priced item? It looks like your ad is working really well but you should be looking at around a 8%+ ATC rate so maybe it is something to do with the store or the product page itself. Tweak a few things and see if that makes a difference.

      I've price the product is around $70 so a bit higher than the average impulse purchase but it's in line with other similar products that I've seen

    I've been running a conversion campaign with Content Views as my event. It has done incredibly well with just one Ad Set and 3 Ads. My CTR for the Ads is 6-12% and CPC for all of them is below 25 cents. I started another campaign to take it to the next step, Add To Cart. Same Ad Set, same Ad, with the same click through results but 0 ATC and I'm about to hit my break even budget. My ads are doing well but I don't know what to change. I think my prices are on par with competitors but my products also have a lot of perceived value so they could be too low OR too high. Any thoughts?

      If you want sales you need to be using purchases as your event. Using other objectives will just be collecting data, at the end of the day the only metric that matters is your ROAS

      I like to place them in the Feed on both instagram and facebook. I have been testing automatic but the feed still performs the best.

    hi chris, bomb video as always!
    i have a question tho, this may sound like a stupid one but i really cant find the answer:
    whats the difference between ppe vs atc vs purchase ads , yes i know that ppe is for "engagement only" and the ads are cheaper i think, but why bother buying purchase ads which is more expensive? i know that purchase ads makes "purchase" , but at the end of the day, ppe and purchase ads are both an ad, if people see a product in an ad, if they really wanna buy it, they would buy it even if its only in a ppe ad, so i dont really understand the difference, i know this is not the case with "carousel ads" vs "photo ads" , the carousel ads would get more sales because it is more eye catching
    but you can put a video regardless if its a ppe or a purchase ad right? so why bother buying the more expensive one?

      Hey, Facebook will optimise the delivery of the ads to the objective you set. For example, if you choose PPE facebook will send the ad to people who are more likely to engage on an ad by commenting or liking etc. Those people won't be classed as buyers in Facebooks algorithm so it's unlikely to result in any sales. However, with a conversion campaign Facebook will send the ad to people who have bought something in the past so they are more likely to buy something again.

    1. I see the number of link clicks but where's the ctr 1% ?
    2. Also if a ppe ad is doing great do i create a conversion campaign with the same demographics and intrests? Will it overlap audience?
    3. 95% targeting is good but since so less people in the 95 that Facebook can't create custom audience properly. What's the minimum number?

      In the ad manager, you have an option to customize the columns. When you do - you can choose which ones you want - find the click links and the CTR and tick them

      1. You can customise the column in the ads manager with the drop down menu on the right hand side. You can create your own layout that shows what you need to see.
      2. It might do a little but it really isn't anything to worry about, it will make no difference to your campaign.
      3. You need to keep collecting data until you have at least 3,000 95% video viewers

    Im doing 1k a day but when i try to scale harder like duplicating the adsets x 5 at 25 on all adsets and cbo at 100 with the the best adsets but if i do that at night and than i wake up with alot bad adsets and some are pretty good like 19 spend with 5 sales but i kill the most. Any tips?

      It's really hard to say without knowing anything about what you're doing. It could just be that the product you are selling isn't scaleable.

      I use Best Currency Converter on my stores but my checkouts are in the store default currency until multi currency checkouts are available

      It sounds like you have a great ad, maybe there is something on your website that is putting people off. You need to look at it as if you were going to buy the product.

      @@ChrisWane my ad is not even considered great. It's just a vid from the supplier of the ring that is being rotated. Yea theres something but i cant seem to figure out what. Anyway, will give my shop one more month then if still nothing, off to another niche
