Is there any multi purpose adhesive which I could use for both - sticking on waterproof decoupling membrane onto a concrete subfloor and also using the same adhesive for sticking tiles on top of it ?
do the notches in the back buttered tile pieces match the floor trowel notches or do the 'buttered' surfaces run perpendicular to each other --or is it even important for adequate coverage? satillo tile for instance needs each piece to be buttered thick do to the uneven surfaces from the hand making process (hand made is the best!) @5:03, it appears the buttered floor notches match (directional) the back buttered tile pieces...are the larger pieces buttered in the same way?
