- In this video I show you how I do research to find a likely gold area's for prospecting. Then I take you there to find some nice golden nuggets. Maybe with some help from the Gold Gods. I am using the Minelab GPZ 7000 metal detector and the killer Nugget Finder 17"x13" Z search coil

Question: In what ways do you feel the 17x13 Z Search is better than the 14". Jenko depth comparison showed the 14" a bit stronger on his sample target but his sensitivity was set low also. Thinking of getting the 17x13 but not convinced yet. thanks for posting your adventure
The 17x13" Z search coil works best in Normal. It runs quieter than in Difficult most of the time with sensitivity adjusted depending on the day and ground. This gives you the ability to punch much deeper. I have found gold with it in old patches that we thrashed with the 14" and NF 13" Z search. It's bigger so you cover more ground and it's also lighter than the 14".
It also looks like it hits pretty small gold based on several other posts. Assume you use General for hunting deep targets. If it runs well in most ground using Normal then it is also likely to do will with EMI (?)
Great job. But how on earth do you get the mines on google maps. Cheers and thanks
Hi Harry, You need to download the .kmz file and then using Google mymaps import it as a layer. Message me with your email and I will send the file to you. BTW love your videos but haven't seen one for a while.
wow amazing my friend, very good video. in one hobby.🤝👍🇮🇩🇮🇩🔔🔔👈👈
Thank you very much!

Any tips on settings for the 7000
I was I’m muckleford couple weeks ago but had no luck near school road
Maybe I have threshold to high or something very noisey
Also using sp01 with the machine
Have it difficult, high yield, sensitive 20 , volume 18 , threshold 33 , threshold pitch 50
Ground smoothing off, auto ground balance, cheers
Try Lower sensitivity -
@@metaldetectingfun cheers will try it out next time I’m out that way , hopefully soon.
I had the sdc2300 before the new 7000 and found small bits.
With the 7000 I’ve found twice out of about 6 times
Is it worth digging into mullock heaps then detecting again?
If you dig into the mullock heaps around the lowest part you will have a greater chance of finding gold. In my experience this has been the case. Good luck. Thanks for watching and for your comment.
the sound of ur detector is way to high set.. turn it down ..jez
My ears are old and so the sound that I have set is best suitable for me. May not work for everyone. Thanks for your comment and for watching.
no prolbem we love ur videos thou.. very well done
