Great to see you discovered Earth Rising, by Stop, Drop & Roll Games, which is based on a real economic model called 'Doughnut Economics' (Kate Raworth, Oxford University), which based on balancing the needs of human population with ability of the planet to renew itself - hence the need for sustainable practices. Interesting stuff!

Glad you have an amazing time there! I'm interested the most with Windmill Valley. Hope it will distributed to my country sooner or later.

Just wondering what’s the definition of Economic board game? As an economic student it feels like mixing hobby and job

It's rather discretionary but the board game geek I feel has the best summary of an economic game "Economic games encourage players to manage a system of production, distribution, trade, and/or consumption of goods. The games usually simulate a market in some way."

My jinx continued and i didn't get to go again......one day hopefully.
    Terminus,Pampero thumbs up from me.
Windmill Valley too just wished the colours not so much in your face.
The board didn't excite me on Earth Rising and board for World Order was
    a tad underwhelming.
    Maybe next year for me.

Hey, sorry to hear you couldn't make it, hopefully next time! Ye Earth Rising has a more educational look. I managed a full play of Windmill Valley last night , it was great, the mechanisms and combos offered really shine for me.
