Very interesting. As an engineer, I noticed engineering is more about understanding than memorizing. It is primarily maths and science, you understand the basic rules and practice how to apply it. You hardly have to recall lists. But this vedio is useful for engineering students too.
Well recall is not only about memorising but also understanding because it can be applied in different ways for example teaching someone or rewriting in your own words which requires you to understand concepts so it definitely still applies if you just alter the actual practical way you practice it.
@@Dr.Nellah my comment was more to compare engineering to other faculties. In engineering/maths/science you have to understand and derive the answers. In comparison, in medicine, law, etc you have to memorize and recall information.

Green tea is good for helping you stay focused as it naturally contains caffeine, but also staying hydrated, having a good sleep schedule, getting fresh air (even if it’s just sitting on the doorstep for a few mins in the morning, still helps) and being active really help to stay focused. It can seem so hard to do those things sometimes, but just start small and keep at it and you’ll find anything is possible. Also just setting aside some time when you wake up/before you sleep prayer is really helpful, doesnt need to be anything fancy n that, prayer is simply a conversation between you and God, hope this helps and stay blessed ❤️

I just got your channel and I love it🥺🥺. I’m in my second year in med school. I love you for this🤗🤗❤️
Thank you so much for the amazing tips, "Writing my notes and re-highlighting them", I'm so guilty of this, will definitely change my technique thanks to your tips, Thanks Nella🌸🌸🌸 You are the BEST🌺
you're not alone! i think 90% of students do this lol but definitely try the other way and see how it goes!
*Takes notes on how not to take notes to study*
Kenhub is soooo good for anatomy could not recommend more!
Rightttt!! It literally tailors to everyone’s type of learning it’s great.
Such brilliant tips Petty, thanks for sharing
My pleasure! Loveee your channel by the way 🙌🏾🙌🏾
I’ll try active learning with the questions
That’s great! Let me know how you find it x
bro idk why, but i read "anything" as "nothing" and i thought you were gonna talk about how college is a scam.
Hahahah well that could be a good video too tbh
Samee
Same! As soon as she started speaking I was like '???' And then checked the title again 💀
Thank you so much for the advice Nellah. I needed to hear that as I'm doing my 1st year in Medical Bioscience(4yr) since I couldn't get through for Medicine. I still have alot of studying to do. I'll make use of your tips (1,3,4,5 and 6). 💯Thanks once again.
This is the most helpful piece of academic advice I’ve gotten. I always felt like I wasn’t retaining information when I was going through course material. Then to end up coming out with worse grades that anticipated. This has truly been a blessing.
Yep I’ve also struggled with the same issue. Is just not an efficient way to study x
hey thanks for the tips really appreciate.. its for people like you the world is becoming a better place... i am also on my journey to making it ... so i will definitely put the tips to practice
Thank you lovely! I wish you all the best in your future xx
i've never felt so lucky finding this video while about to take my exam in a week. thank you for the tips!
Me as a premed watching this video while taking notes, highlighting said notes, highlighting my textbook and all after I listened to my audio textbook😳 If this is seriously why I can't break my B+ plateau, I'm going to explode. Will let you know at the end of next semester.
Yes please switch it up and try this and see what happens! Can’t wait to hear the feedback from you x
THANK YOU SO MUCH, i’m a college student i’ve been having 5 weas in a single week , I hope your tips helps !! taking notes was always been a waste of time for me didn’t learn anything when trying to do pretty notes , u got a new subscriber ily❤️❤️❤️🙈
The moment she said, "All I have known all my life is education" I clicked the Subscribe button.
OMG, I am so happy I found your channel. Thank you!
Thank you for tuning in ☺️
Very interesting.
In comparison, in medicine, law, etc you have to memorize and recall information.
you are such an inspiration to medical professions especially of color and you are STUNNING!!
Thank you I am in the surgical tech program, I have an exam next week so I’m going to give this a go.
God bless you for this video!! I am about to enter my sophomore year of undergrad. I never knew how to study, and usually do not study at all, however, I can’t wait to implement this study style! I just know it will help me succeed.
Thanks I am in my second year of med school and your video really helped me
Thank you so much for your amazing study tips. So lucky to get to know your videos during my intensive study period ✨
you are so real I wish I found you two years ago when i was struggling so hard with my schooling v.v
all i wanna say is THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING THIS!❤️
My school provides us with the syllabus and questions right beneath it but when it comes to exams, half the questions on the syllabus aren't there🚶😔😭
thank you so much! i'm starting a new semester next week and I cannoot wait to implement these tips into my study habits
Do you drink coffee? If not what do u take to somehow enhanced your memory or somehow stimulate your brain to stay awake and focus?
@Harp of Hope Green tea is amazing 👏👏👏
I want to try active recall but I'm so afraid because taking notes feels so secure and right 🙈
I was thinking of doing both
@@Vhykieoffiong not a bad idea actually
