I am just learning to skate (both inline and ice) and I for the skating course I want to take, I need knee protection, but all normal pads I tried were too small - I have pretty thick legs and have more than the normal weight - Does it make sense for me to buy shin guards like these and also how long are the straps? I am about 5.5 feet and would like to wear them on both skates (inline and ice).
Hy, I'm 6'2" and I'm looking for some new shin guards. I put a shin guard over the tongue of the skate, so the oposite of Tyson in the video. Should I buy 15" or 16"? Thanks for reply.
Hi, I am 5-6 160lbs.. I am thinking of purchasing the Bauer Vapor X40 shin guards. What size should i purchase? The 14 seem alittle large, but the 13's almost seem like a junior. The Bauer guidelines says 5-6 would be a 13.. Does that seem right?
so i flopped a lot and skated perfect. but then i tried to put the shingaurds over my lip and i couldnt skate. i lost my balance and i decreased in speed. and its a fact, everyone saw it. what do you guys think happend? to small?
I'm 5,9 feet but i really want my shin guard to cover the first 2-4 oeillets.. i have a sive 15 and it do not cover any of them. What size should i get
I'm 14, 5'6" and still growing. I like to wear my shin pads over the tongue so would I be a 14" intermediate or size small senior? And if it helps the pads I'm interested in are the warrior dynasty ax3's. Thanks!
should the kneeprotectors be in front of the knees when im on the knees :D, because with my hockey pants and shinguards i dont have any protection for my thigh when i fall down and have to play on my knees, im 170cm tall and i have bauer vapor x20, and size is 13". I was looking for new shin guards and i saw reebok 7k's. would it be better to buy reebok 7k 14" ? Thank you
Im 5'3 and 125lbs. Plus Im a girl, but I wear size 15 chin guards. They dont seem too big, maybe just a little bulky. They are Tackla, so is it different because they are European? Thanks

Hey, I'm 5'1 and I'm 14 I play Bantam AA defence. I play with my shin guards in front. What should my shin guard size be?
How does weight play in to these? I am 5'11" but my weight is higher than what it shows for the 6'4" on the chart. Are these straps pretty long?
