MGSV Explained Lecture Series - 15 - Missions 30 & 31 - The Final Battle

After a (not very) brief discussion connecting the timeline jump after the end of Metallic Archaea and the beginning of Skull Face, we can start talking about how the events of missions 30 and 31 serve as a multilayered retelling of past and future events and how Skull Face's speech actually makes sense from the right perspective. What follows is the longest lecture yet, and I get in to a lot of heavy ideas and what is definitely some Big speculation about the symbolism we're presented with during these scenarios; that is to say, take all of what I say in this video with a pinch of salt, to leave room for your own and the potential future creators' own ideas.
