$24.99 isnt really bad for these as back in 1994 the MSRP on these was $9.99 and if you account for inflation, that'd be $21.14 in 2024 money. So definitely a great value cant wait to get mine, awesome review Hatter!
Just got Ripster in today and I'm kinda mixed. I appreciate the action features but now I kind of don't like that it can't hold a pose. I would rather the mouth hold open and the waist swiveled without bouncing back. I don't actually play with the figures so the action features are a great callback but I like posing and taking pictures and the features make it harder to enjoy when setting up a shot.
@@Sarge51BG Yes they had action features. You can watch any youtube review of the retro toys. What are you talking about? Ripster had swinging clothesline swivel and jaw that moved by using its fin.

Fun fact: Sharks have microscopic hooks on their skin called denticles. They face the direction of the tail fin, that is why they feel like sand paper when you touch them.
I went to the “magical place” Saturday They were all sold out of rip and jab and only had slash 😩😩😩. But the do look damn amazing in hand again. For the weight and box they give the best and most bang for your buck
Your review was jawsome! Sorry… I remember writing a report in 4th grade about Jab being my favorite toy at the time. Unfortunately they had that open hand on the original as well. His color looks a little lighter. Peg holes in feet is always a must. Anyway can’t wait for them!

dang, they've reissued these guys?? I guess Street Sharks are once again following TMNT. But man, everything right to the packaging was the coolest as a 90s kid. EDIT: OH MY GOODNESS the have modern articulation now. I need them.
See. Here's the thing with me. These and bowser, Godzilla certain characters doesn't need the legs to move. Just need the to be sturdy. The arms etc need these new articulation. This is what I wanted with kenner real Ghostbusters, tmnt cowboys of moo mesa etc. The old toys with updated articulation.
Very top heavy, and hard to stand. Sounds just like Super 7 ultimates The Brain. Fell down lots of times. Now with a broken foot, I'm not sure what to ever do with it again. But next figures are the new Scarlet Spider and Missing Link Optimus Prime, because I've always liked the Scarlet Spider design and as for the prime, it's my way of having the original with hands.

Could have grabbed a vintage complete one 5 years ago for $100, not sure if they just priced it too low or the price has tripled in 5 years, but I've been kicking myself over my hesitation lol. Hoping the reissue is comparable to the vintage & isn't super hard to get.
